I caught 999 iridium quality tiger trout with quality bobbers and wild bait, by fishing every day in 2 falls and 2 winters ☺️. But i don't know if that would be possible to do with your other limitations. Good luck!

ohh the quality bobber could actually be very helpful! thank you for the tip. i had investigated all the types of bait before starting the challenge and the only one thats feasible is regular bait :/ much too expensive to get 999 wild bait. but if you did it in 4 seasons i think i should be able to do it in like 6 maybe! thats very good to know someone has caught 999 of them before hahaha

I believe fish quailty is not tied to player level, but insteas depth of water fished in. You should teally look into thay because it could allow you to level up fishing as much as you want

i was reading through the wiki on sunday and noticed that you can still get normal quality forage and crops at level 10 and that was also a relief to hear. i tried looking at fishing but couldn’t figure it out XD but i think you’re right, and that’s gonna help a ton actually

The wiki says it is effected by both depth and skill. Best bet is probably to minimum cast until fishing level 3 to try and consistently get lower quality fish, then use crab pots for fishing exp. Then at level 10 maximum casts should always give gold quality (Aslong as you dont perfect cast and get iridium)

If you do aim for the slime route for green algae, kill 500 dust sprites first for the burglar's ring from the adventurer's guild. Should cut grinding in half which is more than worth it at that point

yeee! i spent a lot of last stream hunting dust sprites, got a bit over halfway to 500! i have to collect well over 5000 coal somehow anyways so the ring is well on its way 🥲
