  Just picked up a reissue of this in Montreal last month. It's a deadly LP. Not sure if you know about the label Psycho Records, but they did a ton of garage/psych reissues in the early 80s, a lot of heaters. That's where I first heard of this LP. If you can find the Quicksilver Messanger Service comp 'Maiden of the Cancer Moon' buy it!!!

  Bruh I live in Canada 🇨🇦 and I’ve never seen it, I know someone who found it at a yard sale for $2, it’s a solid garage album imo and the first track is a classic, but not heavy on the psych would like to find a single one day Cheers

  I love that garage sound! Reminds me of stuff like the Remains which is probably my favorite garage record. It would be amazing to find this one in the wild. I wish I had an acid archives book so I could contribute to this series!

  Most USA indie labels were licensed by only a handful of Canadian companies. Trans World was tiny in comparison to labels by Phonodisc, Compo, and Quality.

  There are at least a couple of records Justen produced & played on in his studio, notably "Lady Free" by Doc Holiday. He continues to be a DJ up in Alaska. I streamed the radio station online on their website one evening...yep, it's THAT voice! Goes under the name Cookie O'Brien. You can't make this stuff up. 😂 Beat me to doing the entry. The best. 🤜🤛

  Ha, was waiting for this foot to drop. Funny how this seems to have shown up recently, the original that is. I think the best thing about this record is the sound he was getting. So sludgy and dark. I just wish he wasn't doing the blues riffs but important for the year he did this and just how ground breaking his tone is. Happy to have your reissue though.

  There is an Acid Archives connection to The Glass Family lp. In the first edition of AA they did a great little cheap recommendation section and one of those was Glass Family. Whilst a lot of the others mentioned were $10 records Glass Family was always more expensive on eBay at the time. So even as a UK guy I ticked off most of their cheap recommendations but never got round to paying the $30/$40 or so that Glass Family was selling for in the late 00s and sadly still don't own it. Good to see this channel back. Just keep the rares and the unusual for this channel. Cheers Nigel

  Do a deep dive into the Christian Punk group, Scaterd Few. I personally know Allan Aguirre. He a close friend. He loves to talk about his group and what went on in the Christian music industry. He's a little rebel in that genre. I think you would enjoy interviewing him. Just a suggestion. He recently got back into vinyl. He's a BIG Bowie fan and early Los Angelis punk seen witness. Let me know if ya want to get a hold of him.
