Hey man. The couple in the story about the Zerfas album was me and my wife! We were in the area dealing with some family things and had to drop by after finding you on KZread. I knew from your videos you would like that one. Awesome that you found a copy. My father recently gifted me the one he got from Mark Tribby, lead guitar on the album. Original pressings are hard to come by.

The Oh Boy Roadshow is awesome.They were at Rails and Ales this year which I go to every year and Arlo McKinney was there signing records. I found some awesome records in their used stash including Art Blakey, Blue Cheer and the self titled Captain Beyond debut!

Love vinyl cup, my local fav shop in Des Moines, love Luke. First person my wife and I met at a shop when we moved to Iowa 2 years ago. He welcomed us with open arms and he/vcup has even generously donated to the Breast Cancer 5K my wife started for Central Iowa. Awesome to watch this and see you guys had a killer time! Funny the connection that we have with Luke out here in IA and Ive watched your videos for awhile now and my wife grew up in Matthews NC, hope to make it to your shop in the near future!

Another video of killer music. Today I got a shipment of records arrive that I listened to on spotify and enjoyed because of your videos: Jerusalem, Irish Coffee, Gila (phenomenal!!), Tapiman (killer stuff), Orang-Utan, Oz Knozz, Mistreater, Truth and Janey, Boulder Damm and I'm still waiting on The Axemen Cometh and Psychotic Overkill from Wicked Lady to arrive so thanks for the lists and the heavy rotation videos because I have expanded my knowledge greatly. Also I get a bit of a chuckle when I hear the kids in the background and see some edits in the video, it's wholesome stuff and makes your videos a bit more 'real'

Zerfas are awesome... found them through the Love, Peace, and Poetry compilation (the American psych volume). Great album, expensive for an OG copy though!

Cool tale about Zerfas, lucky find! I see Froggie Beaver float around quite often around the area surprisingly. I parted with mine for another one I had been wanting. I enjoyed Vinyl Cup in Des Moines & found some deals when they first opened up. Haven't found much at the Omaha shop in recent years.

Great video Vinyl Cup is a top notch store. I go to the Omaha one often and tried to hit one of the Des Moines stores but the area was packed so no parking. Arlo McKinley is awesome as well. Grab a copy of Arlo McKinley & the Lonesome Sound. You won’t be disappointed

You mean I had a record that you didn’t (until now)? Wow. I’ve had that Brethren album for ages, became aware of it because A Tribe Called Quest sampled the drum break on “Outside Love”. A copy came through my local shop sometime like a decade ago, so I snagged it for $5. The Oh Boy Roadshow just came through my town on the 17th, but I didn’t know anything about it so I didn’t go. Oops! I guess I know for next time.

If you think the Dr. Phibes soundtrack is weird, wait 'til you watch the movie...

Nice promo of Harvest. A few months back I passed on a 100% stone cold mint promo of Tonight's The Night. It was 100 bones and I just couldn't justify it. I have a stone cold mint regular copy (two actually), but I so regret it.

Yesterday I bought a record of someone I have never heard of it's near mint and bought it from the cover alone It's called Rickenstien and it's been a great record you should check it out if you can I think you might like it

Did you have to fight any customers for any of the albums you bought at the pop up in front of your store?

Anyone who had anything bad to say about your last top 100 video is obviously just jealous and envious they don’t have those records. Obviously there’s more to having a nice collection than just spending big bucks. We all know you out in lots of hours digging, and making trades and toiling at a shop to be able to snag those grails. I’m sure like many of us you’ll often resort to a high bid on eBay or discogs but we all know there’s way way way more to it to get to where you are now with your collection.

Hey Dillon, to clarify, I don't like Vindication too much either. What I should have said instead on your "100" video is that it is 'claimed' to be the holy grail of xian prog, similar to how Fraction is that for xian psych. But no, it's not. That said, I've stated that opinion in some FB groups for rare xian music, and Vindication fans spoke up strongly in their defence. So it seems if you like them you like them. But the love & respect isn't as deep or wide as what there is for Fraction IMO.
