For what it's worth, I knew Jeep Holland, the producer behind "Stoney and the Jagged Edge." When I knew him, he was managing the local warehouse for Diamond Comics in Boston. He was quite a character but I think few of us knew much about his musical past until he was forced to "donate" his enormous record collection to a museum because the weight of his records were threatening the building in which he lived. I didn't know about this record til now. Thanks for introducing me! It's a great album!

I've been scoring on ebay pretty consistently lately. None as off the wall rare as some of your stuff but good stuff on the cheap. Also one of the Goodwills near me must have had someone die or cleaned out their garage cause there's been tons of good jazz and fusion in the bins there. I've bought like 30 records from there recently. The end of summer has been productive and making me broke as hell.

HAHA that guy coming back asking for the record back that he sold you. You’re a better man than me, I would’ve told him I sold it already. Don’t have to include the fact that you “sold” it to yourself 🤷♂️ loving the video so far, lots of stuff I need to check out

My musical taste is definitely very different from yours (at least different the records you primarily discuss on your channel) BUT I watch all your videos because your knowledge and passion for vinyl is so genuine, relatable, and infectious! Thanks for showing that Japanese funk record at 21:31. I listened to it on streaming and I love! Keep up the great content & may God bless your business!

Grabbed some grails as well: Eire Apparent NM, The Music Machine very clean copy, and a weird German band called Kannibal Komix, not sure how I feel about them check out the front and back covers very strange, and a NM promo copy of the Flamin Groovies Shake Some Action sounds amazing! Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

Don't know how many copies of that D.R. Hooker record were pressed, but, like you, I doubt there were only 99 made. I found a copy myself around 20 years ago in a thrift store, for a buck. Like yours, it was in beautiful shape (and signed). Have to admit I sold it, which I still regret. I do have both a vinyl and a CD reissue, though.
