Sad
So now i pay the same without the packer and the retailer?
I'm an atheist, but that prayer was so sweet.
From Tasmania, where it seems rather ironic to find an American complaining about large international corporate monopoly. Hysterical really.
Hope they stop killing animals for food
More mega corporations profiting off the producers who do the basic 😢labor and the consumer at the mercy of both. Profits are good, but mega profits are exploitative and immoral.
Stop selling to them and sell to small guys?
ALWAYS VOTE IN YOUR LOCAL ELECTIONS... REBUILD YOUR LOCAL GOVERNMENT FROM THE BOTTOM UP.
Sell a US citizens fractional plots on land, keep it all bought up.. Keep it America
Mike Callicrate is a great, innovative and courageous man.
Nakes me physically ill to hear this communist horseshit. America is done
Great video
Whats sad is Americans are communist and dont even realize it. So called cowboys are the worst.
We also need country of origin labeling. We are importing beef from Argentina when we produce way more than what we need.
Would love to 🐝 there ; maybe next year , thanks from old New Orleans 😇
Gret one thanks!
Sheep and goat's too! Yes it hurts this farmer/rancher! If it continues all the small guys will be forced out!!
Don't blame the chinese. they have been working their butts off so americans get low priced quality items. Blame US politicians and us companies, if it is not china, it will be bengladesh, vietnam or mexico. If US politicians really want to make US strong again, bring manufacture back to US. US companies can screw china, but they just merely shifiting those jobs to bengladesh or mexico. Unfortunately, americans themselves are not found of $20/hr job, so either way, US is on track to go deeper in debt. The rich will get tons of rich, the poors will live on the street, tent city.
Don’t forget the horse is building a bond with you too
There should be a big box movie made from this story. To help build more awareness of the meat industry for Americans and what good families have sadly had to endure over the years. Thank you for doing such an amazing job of documenting all of this always love watching your channel.
In Michigan i pay 3.15 a lb
Meat packers live short, pathetic lives.
In order to complete or change what is happening today ranchers have to stick together. And that won't happen. This is from a life long cowboy. Not rancher, COWBOY.
Any updates on this horse? I'm curious to know if there was any outcome on pain or genetic issues. I'm a sucker for a dun. He's gorgeous. Seems kind hearted though.....
Yep no more hanging beef 🤬 !
So does a hinny look a little different than a mule???
Great event, great people. I don't think this is going to change big meat. Maybe on the margins, locally and wealthy people. The lab grown meat will. No animal or land management. Meat (or whatever it will be allowed to be called) will be made in factories. Just like people wear plastic and oils instead of skins. There will be great benefit and great loss. Winners and losers.
Need a store like this in Portland, Oregon
Sorry bro, i checked 3 times, there is no mountain range behind me.
What I bought had to give to my dog.. I quit buying meat including chicken.. It smells
Pink slime needs to be mentioned more often. The consumer backlash can halt the march of the bigs
How is this situation not engineered - in an old boys clubroom . Hey uncle Bill ? What's your part ?
bad deal. APR is not good.
I will hire a butcher and packaged everything and make a website all profit baby
Lot of rocks around area that need remove or injury horse feet when walk or running AND RIDE on horse more heavy and will be worse injury to around with many rocks that need remove than medical attention or put down like that
God, why do people say "I'm the boss" as if it means - I'm gonna shout at you, you're gonna stay still while I'm being aggressive because I said so, because I have to be the boss while I'm not feel like it so I'm gonna pretend, because my daddy said I have to be the boss" instead of "we are going for a ride, stay calm, I know what I'm doing, because I'm trained and experienced, thats why I'm naturally confident, therefore trustworthy" the rule is the same with humans and animals - please don't be shitty boss, be wortgy being boss and all will follow
But I have to admit that the part of stick and the bag is going well because he is confident, I think he knows what he is doing and why so the horse is responding better to it I also think if you are type who doesn't bother much with mild or average pain (he is handling the pain from the cactus very well) , you might not remember that this is very relative, so don't push too much on others, expecting the same acceptance of inconvenience
This is why I (retain ownership) all the way to the plate
I just found out Amazon is a financial supporter of The World Economic Forum! You can Google a list of supporters for The World Economic Forum to see them all.
Smart great people...👍💯💪🦁
How about the farmers grow organic only.. band together.. stop killing Innocent animals
You could make the same argument about this country, any country really, and making a blanket statement about someone having a "right" doesn't make you right. It's a very modern, American, progressive "entitled" mentality that forms these "rights" we believe we have. Don't fool yourself.
I had someone else look behind me, there were no mountains. I suppose it's a subjective perspective, I could choose to define mountains as what others would call. Mole hills. 😏🤏
$25 a pound for Ribeye? 🤨 That is insane...
Here in California, the farmers and ranchers are getting regulated out of buisness.
Support your LOCAL RANCHERS
This guy lives n fantasy land, he’s a full blown idiot
I bet they weren't cheap...
I really like what this guy has done and more people should do it too! For as much as me and my family eat beef in my house I am going to still have to stock up at Costco where the prime beef is more in my price range to feed the family. I have been looking into buying in bulk like a 1/2 cow of Angus beef which is going for about $2,450 right now and comes out to about $12.25 per pound for 200lbs of beef. I wish this guy sold it like that to maybe get the price of his beef down a tad bit. For what it is it is not over priced from what I see on the website but still a bit more than going to Costco and getting prime beef and stocking up. I will be trying some Ribeye's from him though to try the Wagyu/Angus mix he has going on. I love Japanese A5 wagyu but that is for more around the holidays and when I find a few 100 dollar bills lost in the couch cushions just to buy 1lb steak..
I don't see a website to order the Lamb
Keep the liberals out
