Just saying one word: Jim Ayotte throws way too hard, which always have been fascinated me regarding this sport: Deflection anyone? Jim throws so hard that the ball just bounces away, doing nothing or going straight through the deck with very bizarre leaves. What if they actually threw the ball way slower and let it deflect and the deflection doing the work in the pin deck? They would be so much more precise and I do think they would benefit from it. Unfortunate I have never got the chance to try this out, and I don't know if I ever will.

Like 10 pin bowling, you really don't need announcers. They just state the obvious. It's just verbal instant replay.

Girl soft ball pitchers would be awesome at this sport, because they could check the hell out of that little-ass wooden ball! 🫴🎳

See the professionals should learn from this, you don't need to throw the ball as fast as humanly possible. It's actually better to throw it slower pace.

Oh my Gosh... so many of them do, including some of the very best bowlers in the game right now... Timmy Douglas, Josh Daley, Maddy Kelly, I could list 20 or 30 more of our very best adult bowlers.

Lousy camera work.. as far as i know every kid bowled for balls.. because they weren't showing the actual pins falling in the first part

I watch how well this little show was shot, and I wonder why all of the many Candlepin matches posted to KZread these days only have the one camera angle, behind the bowlers. This is so well done.

I grew up with both parents being kingpin (or 10-pin) bowlers in their respective lane leagues for years. I hadn't heard of candlepin bowling since I moved to Maine and then attempted it myself in New Brunswick last year. I really enjoyed it, but it is extremely difficult.
