    Plenty of music on show there and funny enough a place I have never thought about visiting before if we ever made it to the USA. Not seen much ice hockey but what I have seen I like and I know it is really big in the US and Canada. Sorry but had to LOL at the spicy food and the after kick but nice set up to see the 'stars' and I would have loved to have seen Hendrix, Elvis and Little Richard, all of whom I loved. To be honest, never been a Country fan, maybe why have never fancied a visit to Nashville before. I thing I do like is my meat and I would have been in food heaven at that grill bar! Cheers Alan

    I am really glad to hear that Nashville is still clean and safe even with the huge population growth over the years! It was cool that you guys showed us around some of the popular food and music spots around the city. Makes me want to take a long overdue trip back out there. Thanks for sharing, brother!

    Love Nashville! Such a fun time. Oh no the sunburn LOL! Poor you! The bus really is a great idea. Oh no your phones haha! Such gorgeous views from the bridge. Honky Tonk streets really are so chaotic haha but it's such a neat spot. The sax and electric guitar is so fun! Love the legends corner mural. One of my biggest regrets is not having a famous hot chicken sandwich haha, that looks so good. So cool to see the walk of fame, I'm not a huge country fan either but I do love my miss Dolly! :) The fort is so cool. Greg is obsessed with anything barbecue! That looks sooo good. That's one thing I loved about our Tennessee trip lol. You both got SO much done in Nashville, our trip was great too but we didn't have much time. Loved seeing your day in Nashville, such a great city. Thanks for bringing us along!! :)

    This gave me those excting holiday vibes! So exciting ❤ shame about the sunburn and leaving the phones behind 😮 the buildings are amazing and love the views of the river. The views of the city are very cool. Wow the sax and electric guitar 🎸 🎷 ❤ such an amazing day trip 😊 nashville looks amazing and im glad you found the pantheon

    Looks like a great tour of Nashville! We happened to be swinging through the area around Octoberfest...and man was it a fun place haha. Different brews all over to check out and the center of the city closes off some streets so you can walk around. It really was awesome and hope to go back sometime. I'm definitely learning a lot more from your video, we didn't check out nearly as many places but had some overlaps! - Shane

    Oh man, you are like my wife. Sue gets burnt all the time. Nashville is a cute town. Oh wow, can’t believe both of you forgot your phones. It’s like 1990 all over again. That bridge is fun to walk around on. Bringing back memories. We did go in to the Johnny Cash museum. It is happening when you went. We missed so much after watching your video. That hot chicken place was on our list but ran out of time. Now I want to go back after this tour.

    Yeah, I'm sure that people drive crazier than the U.S. than in Canada. I have never had a good experience with a Motel 6 either. Nashville is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. I haven't been there for over 12 years, and it will be cool to see how it's changed.

    For some reason this trip seem very familiar. Guess I will have to stay tuned to see why that is! Great video and looks like a long, but fun trip. Definitely watch out for those crazy drives in the NE haha. When we lived up that way it was a constant battle just trying not to get in an accident from people not paying attention or driving too fast. Thanks for sharing and have a good one! - Shane

    Ten hours driving would be my idea of hell and I thought (could be wrong) flying was quite cheap over there? That hotel must have been a welcome sight after that long days driving but I would have wanted a tad more for my supper....I hate driving at the best of times and being close to 2 accidents would have made it even worse but good to see the weather was good to you where you camped, cheers Alan

  • @DestinationEarth
    @DestinationEarth14 күн бұрын

    If it's from within the states, yes, flights are cheap. Anything to do with Canada, including most of the time in Canada is quite expensive. You can go to Toronto for cheap (about $200) but everywhere else is expensive. Since this was a 5 week trip, taking our own car was the cheapest way to do it overall.

    Yay road trip to Nashville!! So much fun. We loved our time in Nashville. Road trips are so much fun and we loved driving from NB to Tennessee. Quite a drive for sure lol but worth it and so cool to see the sights along the way. We stopped at those rest stops too - helpful for quick food and clean bathrooms haha! Always a great feeling getting to the hotel after driving all day lol. People really are in a hurry in the states and so much traffic haha. Oh no the rain! That's not fun haha. That's definitely stressful. Poor Akane with her driving experience. The long days are rough. Good for you both for sharing driving duties. I drove the Canadian small part and Greg drove all the US parts lol. Nice to relax and camp after your busy day. Virginia is pretty to drive through. Such a great feeling driving by that Tennessee sign and knowing you are just about there! Can't wait to see the next video :)

That’s scary when it’s out over the water, oh my goodness 😂 so happy you got it back to the shore. Mountains, ocean, soft sand, what more could you want for a paradise! And you have it to yourselves! I think what happened is that without regular use the batteries can show up as having more charge than they actually do. This was one of a few times on the trip that I used it, so it must have been showing the battery levels higher than what they were. I was SOOOO nervous. Glad it all worked out!

    Looks like a WWI era sangar to me. Might be an alcove for an HMG or maybe a terrestrial telescope or large binoculars mounted on a tripod. Livestock pen - not likely. Crofter's cabin - not likely. Sangars are hasty defensive fortifications built on terrain that is impossible to dig trenches on. It is also on a crest overlooking a plot of land which was considered a sector at one time believe it or not. You will notice the walls are maybe 4' tall at the maximum. This is to lessen the silhouette. Even the squareness of the walls resembles how modern sangars are made - with gabions of heavy galvanized steel mesh filled with stone.
