I'm Oskar, a musician/artist/animator/maker/collector/repairer sort of person based in Lincolnshire. I have amassed a substantial collection of obscure and unusual instruments including accordions, concertinas, zithers, dulcimers and toy pianos, that I will someday use to record my own music. Let's hope that time isn't too far away! For now, please enjoy my slightly wonky arrangements of my favourite pre-existing tunes.
Enjoy!

Amazing music as with all your videos
Good on you, keep on keeping on.
Very interesting; I learned something! I was recently reading about the “Franglo” system and that also has thirdless chord buttons.
Oooh I've heard of the Franglo. It seemed like an interesting concept but I didn't read enough about it for the idea to stick in my head haha
Nicely explained, thank you :)

Impresionante y antiguo piano a bayonetas !!!
Well done! Love it!!!
Brilliant!
Ah wonderful! I very much enjoyed listening to this :)
Sounds more like a waltz with a bourrée esque rhythm to me but we also do just live in different countries
Ah I'm no bourrée expert! I'll take your judgement on this one
A lovely listen!
Bravo!
Great playing !
Can you play it on your diatonic ???
I can indeed! I have to play in in E minor though, because my G/C box doesn't have the accidentaly in as convenient a place as my D/G
Well done!
So cute :-)
Beautiful interpretation! Especially all the left hand syncopations!
What a sweet instrument. Great preformence ❤
Прекрасная музыка и отличное ее исполнение. послушал с большим удовольствием. Спасибо! Всего Вам самого доброго и дальнейших творческих успехов!

Beautiful sounds and playing ❤
The website says both "Key of C/G" >>and<< "Fully Chromatic" --- isn't that self-contradictory?
Sort of. Anglo concertinas are diatonic, which means they can play in a number of set keys. Most are tuned C/G, meaning they have one row dedicated to the C major scale (C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C) and one dedicated to the G major scale (G, A, B, C, D, E, F#, G). On 20 button instruments this is all you have, meaning you can only properly play in the few scales that use those notes. However, a 30 button instrument like this has an extra row, which contains most of the accidentals (notes that the other two rows are missing), and a couple of reversals (repeted notes from the other two rows that play in a different direction). This *technically* means that it is fully chromatic, because the third row means that you can *technically* play in any key. That doesn't mean it's easy though! For example, a C/G box can play easily in C and G, but it's a bit harder to play in F or D or A, and very hard to play in keys like F# or Eb. Hope this helps!
I love this rendition! Always nice hearing a circle progression😊
do you remember where u found music for this?!
I didn't! I play by ear, so I just listened to the original song lots of times and then made an arrangement in my head. I imagine there's sheet music somewhere on the internet though

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I have loved this song since the SW version was released. I feel it's essential to mention Mort Shuman, who provided the translation ........
Every night I check the new melodeon videos, but these days I never seem to listen to any of them. You, on the other hand, I have had down as a top man ever since the vid with the toy boat the other year. Great !
Every time I see a new video up on your channel I assume you are having a break from your studies. Anyway, thanks for the tune!
Salzburgo , Viena ❤...
Austria ...one day , I want goooo❤
Where did you get the sheet music for this? I mean like specifically for the accordion?
I didn't! I play by ear, so I don't use sheet music. If you want some then I imagine someone on www.accordionists.info will be able to help :)
Thank you!
Started learning concertina about 6 months ago and Oh Susanna is the only piece I can play decently from memory (Gary Coopers version). I don't suppose you would be willing to share the sheet music? Your arrangement is so lively!
It's always good to hear about people taking up the concertina! I'd love to supply you with sheet music for my arrangement, but I play by ear so I don't actually have any. The arrangement is pretty simple, I play the melody on the right hand and do 'oom-pah' chords on the left hand. Hope this helps, and good luck with your concertinaing!
I absolutely adored that! Thank you very much!
Very cool! I am so impressed the variety of passions you pursue! Great message and great use of old Wildlife Watch magazines.
Your performance of In the Bleak Midwinter from a year ago led me to exploring your channel and brought me to this video which seems quite fitting. What a prodigious amount of videos you have made and posted and listening to and watching them is a wonderful end-of-year gift. What wonderful ambience this harmonium lends to this song along with the setting. Thanks for all your wonderful videos and here's to the joy of longer days of light ahead.
Thank you so much! This is very nice to hear :)
if I ever visit Lincolnshire, you gotta give me a concert, ha! 🥳
happy psychedelic new year, I guess <3
Beautiful and uplifting song! Great job!
Really enjoyed that Oskar thanks
Thanks! It's a very nice tune, I'm glad you like my rendition :)
Very lovely and a most evocative sound. Thanks Oskar and a very happy Christmas season to you all there.
why is this viable
Very nice rendition! Too bad the school didn't let you accompany the choir on accordion.
Please hindi song cover music video
This is great music
