Less than $300 a week? In Cali? 🤔
Poor Wild Bill…a month of Hell on a wagon to get shot in the back of the head upon arrival.
it really reminds me of Detroit. Thanks to the great politicians that run the city. Oh wait comparing Detroit to this city is an insult to Detroit itself.
I do like the Art Deco in Downtown though
When you are highlighting gas prices/house averages/age groups/etc, please include in your verbal narrative the year you are noting/filming these figures. Your videos are enjoyable and helpful, however as years go by it would be nice to allow for some probable fluctuation in current market figures.

some of those trailer parks look well maintained. not the greatest place to live but some what afordable housing with partly ownership but the owners seem to have a noose over the owners with cost of spot and could sell the property to a developer and leave people with low income in desparate need of afordable housing. I am surprised that with so much unused farm land that a land owner does not develop a modern mobile type or tiny house afordable housing useing alternative energy and heat pumps.
May be able to pick up a house for a couple bucks, prospects for women are good, may move.
farther north to the canada border in nodak and minnesota they do have the heavy accent like in the movie. it is a cross of northern european and canada.
the street with the cathedral of tall trees is pretty rare as mot have been destroyed by dutch elm disease beetle. noddaks extreme cold has kept the beetles away but with climate change winters have become milder and beetles are more succesful.
the rally for womens health was a demonstration for womens rights to healthcare. the protesters were against womens choice of birth control and reproductive health care. both sides do not protest. protest means against.
If you watch Red Dawn (1984) , a lot of these locations can be seen in this movie. The Longmire series was filmed there, too.
fargo people work in moorehead minnesota.
Radar O'Rielly's Hometown from The TV Show "M.A.S.H".
Def move there instead of living in Texas, Utah is prolly top 3 in the nation for great places to live. Price is a working town, very cool.
As a former addict who used to frequent the "no go" zones. They're actually pretty safe if you don't disrespect. 🤷♀️
It's Peh..Nah
Still waiting for that trickle down.
Why does Salem have such a high rate of violent crime?
Knew of chemeketa college didn't know that was the towns name WHT was the name changed to Salem and when?
Brutalist style perhaps? The courthouse? And many thanks for your vids, Joe and Nic, they're fantastic.
The “smell our dairy air” slogan also has a third meaning when you consider the name the French initially gave the city as well
You should drive back through late at night, I'm sure it's a bit different.
It's so weird not seeing any people around. I live on Long Island and it's impossible to ever be alone.
I think it's definitely him. It must be him.
If it was so dangerous, why was there a home going for 4.5 million in Monroe?
Couldn't pay me to live there.
I wouldn't live there if you paid me !
I was living in Iowa City in 2008 during the major flooding of Cedar Rapids and Iowa City (the flooding you referred to in this video). I had actually just moved from Cedar Rapids to Iowa City a few months prior to the flood. Those were some crazy times. The flood destroyed all of downtown Cedar Rapids, which prompted most businesses to move out of the area. This is why downtown Cedar Rapids is so desolate nowadays. It was a very bustling epicenter prior to the floods. I hope that maybe one day Cedar Rapids will have a viable downtown again, but people are still way too weary to be moving into downtown for business and such due to the high risk of it flooding again with the rivers being in such close proximity to downtown.
The purpose of the skywalks in both Cedar Rapids and Des Moines are to keep pedestrians out of the roadways so traffic keeps moving at a steady pace. It has very little to do with weather, as most of the skywalks in both cities are not temperature controlled.
I live in Wichita and I was born in Wichita so I'm a local
Use to live in Liverpool, NY. Rochester is horrible in downtown sadly.
Eeeee, my home town is on this one! Thanks for making video like this. It lets me be about to show the town from an outside view but a good look :)
