    Thank you very much for an informative, concise and enjoyable video. You possess a nice, easy style and you video gives all the basics we were looking for as my wife and I travel there for a week on June 7th ‘24 for the first time as we are beginning to tire of the growing metropolis which is Marbella. The fishing village atmosphere of Nerja will be a welcome change and we now feel nearly at home there thanks to you video, which puts us at an advantage! We’ll done!

    Thank you so much for this video, I learned more than the official website, I have a few questions, we have a very limited time, I dont want a guided tour I just wanna go and take the green route, as far as I understand I can enter at 10 am the soonest and start hiking freely, the green route is marked? I am scared of getting lost, and for the iconic stones is it ok to do the green tour? Would you recommend the yellow tour who doesnt have much time really as we will continue to the villages all day long and return to Malaga. Thank you in advance.

  • @thetravelsofbbqboyandspank8535
    @thetravelsofbbqboyandspank85354 ай бұрын

    Don't worry about getting lost, its all well indicated and manageable and is just a loop. Yes, 10am to 7 pm. For the Screw, it's actuall not on the green or yellow, it's on the other side of the parking lot but close to the visitors center. Don't worry, all well signalled.

    From our experience, I"d say you got it just about right. However, we are from Dublin where two coffees and a croissant will cost you twelve euros, we can get that in Nerja for four euros fifty! One other thing tourists don't know is that cash machine charges to get cash are very high, best to avoid if you can as it is a bit of a rip off. But mostly, we love Nerja.

    It is! Very pretty. Since you live there, I'm curious: what's the official term for Maro? I know it's not a town (even though the Spanish use "pueblo"). It's not a comarca, it's not a municipality...what exactly is Maro?

I don't know how exactly to describe Maro, but the postalcode is still 'Nerja' so it's just part of Nerja... but if I should call it something in spanish, I need to talk to my wife... my spanish is like "can I order a table" and "I need 4 bags" when I'm at Mercadona to pick up some food haha ;D

I know you now live in Nerja just wondering if you could answer a few questions on bus service to Málaga Airport in the month of November. Hi Angela. There is 1 bus a day between Nerja and Malaga airport and it's at 11am. You can see on the Alsa website. But it's easy: just take the bus to Malaga. From the bus station, you can take a city bus OR you can go to the train station next door and take the commuter train in the direction of Fuengirola. This 2nd option is the best, takes 10 minutes on the train (which passes every 20 min)

    An expat or expatriate is simply defined as a person who lives outside their native country. Similarly, an immigrant is a person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country. Only one distinction is made here - immigrants intend to stay in their new country indefinitely. Whether expats do or do not is unclear.
