4 minutes in Zahara de la Sierra (Cádiz, Spain)

Zahara de la Sierra is one of Andalusia’s most stunning “pueblos blancos” (white villages). What sets it apart from many other white villages is it’s geography. It is located in Parque Natural Sierra de Grazalema in the North East part of the province of Cádiz. You’ll see lots of mountains, lush greenery (there’s a microclimate here that brings more rain to the park than anywhere else on the Iberian peninsula), gorges, canyons…it is beautiful.
The town itself is very small. The main thing to do is climb up to the Moorish castle which sits on a bluff overlooking the town. Lots of great view everywhere.
