    Could the A frames not be made 'monoque' from the sheet so you don't have to domino in the cross braces, it's all one sheet with cut outs

    My goodness. I really appreciate the time you take going into such detail about what most novices, like me, would like to know or sometimes take for granted. I’m learning more about cabinetry in these short videos than some series that are hours long. Thank you very much!

    The fold out step is a v nice touch. Possibly elevates this above the Ikea beckvam, a design classic - in my eyes at least!

    That's a simple stylish design Peter, with a nod to the ubiquitous Ikea Bekvam step stool, Importantly it is only splayed back to front so more for sitting than standing on as it would be inclined to tip sideways. I mention this because I built a stool almost exactly these dimensions out of scraps ( and braced diagonally with herringbone straps ) for outside work, and I have to remind myself to be careful not to tip it when I stand on it !

  • @10MinuteWorkshop
    @10MinuteWorkshop13 сағат бұрын

    Thanks Andy. Yes, absolutely a sitting design. You can make a standing design, but you mustn't have the seat / top overhang the sides - makes a big difference. 👍

    Yes it is - right under the KBB DrillBlock -(Trend Snappy de-burring tool (countersink) - amzn.to/3NRpNtx) They're quite pricey now, you an get a Fisch one for less - amzn.to/4emJDrG 👍

    Enjoy watching some if your videos. I watched a vid about router cutters and you asked if "spiral" ones were elf & safety compliant in hand held routers. To the best of my knowledge the governing factors are the strength of your wrists, power of the router and your skill / experience level. They do make a single disposable blade blade router for kitchen worktops and they can be worse than a big"spiral" to use
