    And then I wouldn’t have what I want, can’t go where I go, have to keep paying for it every time I use it. Thanks for continue to make this silly comment so I can keep responding with the real reason we fish from kayaks. We don’t want a “real” boat, we want to best watercraft to do what we do. Thanks for the opportunity!

    For Jackson kayak to talk so big about a “big water” boat. All the videos I’ve seen are in lakes and creeks. No offshore videos???????? I’m in Hawaii and am half interested in the knarr, but can’t find any offshore videos.

    Doesn’t work with these modern sit on tops. Plus, most anglers have too much crap back there and you would have to remove the seat and then most likely lose it since it isn’t connected. It gets recommended a lot my people to do this so it would be really nice for someone to video and respond with a link!! Thanks for the comment and for watching

Anyone who gets in a boat should have this mindset. Every season should begin with these “drills”. This guy is saving your life so pay attention! Thanks big guy! SEMPER PARATUS!

    Why not take the paddle apart, put one end in the holes and use it as a lever? Not much heart rate involved in that move. 6 years in SAR, you cant rescue if you become the victim. Just sayin.

  • @ChadHooverFishing
    @ChadHooverFishing2 күн бұрын

    I’m not sure what that would do other than potentially break your paddle, crack your scupper and make the problem worse. And I spent quite a bit of time in SAR myself. 😜

    I got significantly better with glides by simply using them. I would take out 3 rods with me. One with a 5ish inch and one larger like 7-8. One rod with a follow up Senko. You’re right on the money when it comes to reasons behind and how to adjust profiles. I myself use Fluoro for everything but am quickly noticing how braid and leader has become my go to. For the next round of tournaments I’ll be switching to braid.

    Do you throw this around docks or just on open banks?

  • @ChadHooverFishing
    @ChadHooverFishing3 күн бұрын

    Austin is actually filming again right now, so he will jump in an answer later. But, I will say that we don’t just fish them around the banks, we fish them (especially him) deeper and over brush piles and structure. Austin has caught them waaaay deeper than me, up to about 20-25’ deep

  • @austinhoover6262
    @austinhoover62623 күн бұрын

    These baits around docks are deadly!! There’s not many places that I won’t throw a glide bait. If I can sneak it into a spot and and the structure/vegetation allows I’m throwing the glide every time!
