You read up about it, watched some KZread videos about it and then you showed us how you had a go at it, unsuccessful first attempts and all. Just what I and many others would do too - thank you from all of us “have a go” non-experts.

Instead of a pulley and a fig 8 on a loop can u use a petzel micro? and can 1 use the middle persons overhand knot otr however they ties in as the anchor instead of the prosik for an anchor?

You have great content, but i see you've stoped producing :( Olallie (biking) and Mount Washington (hiking) are really good. I hope you come back to produce more content!!

It went together easily in less than an hour. kzread.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Make sure the front fork is forward or the pedals will hit the front tire. Tires are both a little soft so it needs air before I ride it. The rear wheel didn't come with a clamp regular bolts hold it on. The front had the clamp. No scratches out of box. Rims are a little off with a slight wobble. They could have spent more time with the spoke tool fixing the run out. So far out of the box I'm happy with it. I did replace the pedals with a nice aftermarket set. After riding it a bit my A$$ is a bit sore so I ordered another seat. Overall I'm nearly 60 and didn't ride a bike in 30 years. I like my new 29" Schwinn. It will be used for casual rides with my friend.

Love the bike design kzread.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L and functionality. It is hard to align the front tired to center the disk brakes. The brake wheel touches the stationery side of the brake caliper and pad. I aired the tire up to 40 psi as the markings say 40-60psi. Left the house for a few hours and came back to an exploded innertube. All in all it seems to be a good bike. Have not ridden it yet though so that's the max of my knowledge. Update, put a new innertube made sure the tire was set properly and it did the same thing in under 20 minutes as second pic shows.

In a mountaineering scenario you would more than likely have crampons on, are you still supposed to step on the rope with crampons on as a backup @lukemtb?

The Race Face carbon cranks are complete garbage. They’ve screwed so many customers over the last 3 years. I wouldn’t touch their new cranks with a 10 foot pole even with their “Lifetime guarantee.” Which is actually “practical product lifespan” as defined by Race Face. Accidents not covered despite what they advertise. Read the fine print!

The problem is the mountain is taller than the clouds but lower than the sun as a viewing angle. The mountain is just an obstruction like your house would be if you were standing in the shadow

Chris king stopped making this tool because of KZread idiots making videos about using this tool without reading instructions or UNDERSTANDING how it supposed to work! You all deserve a press fit bottom bracket!

WRONG INSTRUCTIONS!! You supposed to remove the metal gasket from the ballbearing race and rubber ring thats beneath it.. and you clearly did not do that.. You did not replace any grease from the ballbearing , all the grease coming out is fresh one, it supposed to come from the ballbearing .. You clearly dont knw what you doing..

The Bonson is bar far the better looking bike. The bronson is going to suffer with those really stiff harsh rims. Also you are running your stem pretty high with a set of high rise bars, so it will feel pretty different. This is known to be the Josh Bryceland frame, so that bike should hold its value. I have a Pink V2 bronson as my fun bike and a 2018 Specialized Ohlins Coil enduro as my race/strava bike 😂😂. Dont sell the bronson!

I've heard that the SRAM X01 and X01 DH cranks, as well as the Truvativ Descendant Carbon ones are much more reliable than RaceFace (due to them having an aluminum 'skeleton'). The XX1 and Stylo ones also have the 'skeleton' but they aren't foam-filled (???) so they aren't as strong but a bit lighter. Not sure about the GX Carbon ones tho. (Yes, I read the description). Never have heard much about E13 ones so can't mention anything about them. Probably best to stick to Shimano and SRAM alloy cranks for now tho. Or eeWings if you can afford it.

You are probably right about Carbon cranks. Ethirteen cranks are failing frequently as well. 2 of my friends broke theirs and one of those failures resulted in a bad crash and broken bone.

puhhh, that's aheavy play O_o Same here on my Next R driveside crank. 2nd time in 1,5 years on my trailbike. Always used a high quality torque wrenche. I'm a pretty smooth advanced rider with 80kg (160lbs) tops :( Waited over 3 month for replacement last summer. We'll see if the "next" crankset will solve the problem once and for all
