nomad 4 shock fender. might need to cut it down. RJ doesn't have the issue, so maybe I'm just fat or something

Feels similar. Shock hasn't broken yet like it did on the Firebird though, and I can actually run a coil shock that doesn't cost over $1k. Haven't tried the flip chip setting, will prob do that at Whistler soon.

Thanks for the answer....i am now writing from my account, above one was from my girlfriend. May i just ask one more question. I am in between a Nomad 4 and a Rocky Slayer. Did you have the chance also to ride a Slayer? And to the nomad - is it a bit playful too or just a plow more or less? Thank you!!!

I didn't ride the slayer, but I have had such good luck with my Bronson which has now close to 2k miles on it and working w/Santa Cruz, that I'm sticking with Santa Cruz for now. I bought the Nomad to be a plow on the gnarliest stuff + whistler park (have a coil shock), but so far it's been fun on a wide variety of trails, including flow trails like Xanadu. If you want to split the difference you could run an air shock on the nomad. I've heard good things about the Slayer too though. My guess is you can't go wrong w/either.

Not sure but I'd go with Kicker Gap Berm for this trail.

Wow, nice stuff! That trail looks so rough and fun :D You changed from Firebird to SC Nomad? I just decided to go for the Firebird and not for the Nomad... hopefully I did everything right ;D I love your videos btw... make more of them please ;D
