Great Job Paul, and nice riding. So glad you made it to Moab. The Whole Enchilada is a blast.
Hello from Pac NW! Loved the vid. Tried Mtn biking first time in Oct 19 on a 3 day visit to Moab. It was so rad, can't wait to try it again sometime! 🤘🏻❤
You've demonstrated your bike skills and the ability to concentrate at the edge of a cliff ! Well done !
Taking bikes, climbing gear, and a van and heading out there over Thanksgiving - this video just got me SO psyched! Thanks Luke!

It’s not too late to start.
Respect man, was just in Moab on an Enduro dirtbike for 5 days, the climbs up the rock shelves are pretty easy on dirtbike if mentally daunting. But man you guys fly downhill.
Amazing video lads!
Great video! Subscribed. I love mountain biking. One of my favs

Aw man what a great video! I'm thinking I should get a gimbal as well... Did the same trip as you and road the same trails in october. The place was moneyyyyyy. SO rad man.
Great video!!! We were there last year. Love it there. Some scary edges though...... stay away from the edge.
Nice one. I rode PR once. supah fun! Great to re-live it with you
Sick edit
Fantastic video. Im heading there for the first time tomorrow. It is GREAT to see that riders as good as yourself also crash, makes me feel better about when I crash. Of course, you smile through the process whereas I beat myself up for a week. Thanks for the video....nicely edited.

Thanks Kerry - have fun! Kinda wishing I was back there now. I see riders way better than me crash too, it's kind of a testament to how fun mountain biking is...we can hurt ourselves but keep coming back for more.
LUKE, 100th like, yea lol. You got goosbumps when you were on the edge with your front tire off, I was like dam one small breeze and your done! =D thanks for sharing this video man it was super fun to watch !!!
Luke I have to say that there a few really good videos of this trail out there but this one is at the top of the list. I like the way you edit the vids. The music selection was great. Your bring a very unique style of riding and filming that tells a good story. I love some of your other videos especially Lord of the squirrels. Hope you upload the rest of your Moab trail videos. Heading to Moab to ride this at the end of the month. Keep up the great job very inspiring!!

Awesome! Easy to install.
september 25 2018, i just rode the whole enchilada two days ago. i can't believe how many riders were doing that steep rock slide at the start of lower porcupine. i could barely walk down that... great video man!

Can't wait for days 2 and 3. I know editing takes some time. Always appreciate someone that takes the time to actually put a movie together with more than just POV. Shot at 3'32 was amazing. Did you have a drone?
I'm coming from London to ride this next year ! You have done a first class job with that footage! It's got me even more pumped to do it!

LukeMTB super nice. You make awesome videos. Did you get many flats?
@LukeMTB
6 жыл бұрын
Thanks Eric! No flats surpisingly. Saw a lot of people on the trail who did, however. I ran a DD minion up front, a single ply Griffin out back. 32/30 PSI (I'm 210lbs). My friend was running single ply Highrollers I believe.
Nice video. Cool to see the Bronson tearing it up and passing peeps. Well.. trying to pass peeps.

I can't believe how many riders where on that lower part. I rode it yesterday. I had a small group of 3 ahead of me (same pace so I didn't catch up). Didn't see another soul the rest of the ride. Nice footage...my gimbel died 2 days before, so I couldn't film my ride. :(
@LukeMTB
6 жыл бұрын
There were so many - the last section on lower was actually very bottlenecked. I'm jealous you had it mostly to yourself, that's more my preference :)
nice video
Thanks for the video. I've ridden Moab once but only drove through Castle Valley as I was a newcomer and was discovering the trails when I got there. So beautiful. BTW, at 7:22 into the vid you took a close look at the ground, so to speak, when the bike skidded. Do you wear pads or other protection for that. Pretty rugged.
@LukeMTB
5 жыл бұрын
i always min wear knee pads. took a chunk out of the lower palm of my hand during my visit here from the fall, nothing major just one of those that annoys/stings for a few days.
I was in Moab in spring break. I remember that I road my bike from town to porcupine rim. Never again I should’ve shuttled! I thought I wasn’t going to make it out. Haha
@LukeMTB
6 жыл бұрын
Sounds brutal! Yeah the cool thing about Moab is that you can shuttle all of these cool trails so that you can enjoy the downhill much more. As you saw trails are pedal-y anyway even with shuttling.
That's an epic scenery...can wait to see how it looks like in Spring. Thanks for sharing, was this capture with GoPro? About how many hours is the entire ride?
@LukeMTB
5 жыл бұрын
thanks man - you will love it. this is from a gopro 4 yeah. i can't remember exactly how long it took us, but we took our time. felt like an all day thing. I feel like the record is 3 hours or something.
Waiting for the other 2 days of riding!

if that was your first time to ride Moab, you did it up right!!!
Wow that was all jammed up on the LPS. You need a bell or a fog horn. Good music.

Thanks for checking it out, it got worse after that traffic-wise. Need to hit it again on an empty day
That was a great edit job! That’s going to be the first place out west that I am going to go. How long did it take to do the whole Enchalida?
@LukeMTB
5 жыл бұрын
thanks man - very worth it. we took our time, not sure but felt like most of the day - riding, sessioning, enjoying the views. I think @mearsofmoab has the Strava KOM at something insane like 2h.
I thought the 5 meter drop at my black diamond trail was nuts but this nothing compared
excellent use of Snoop Dogg to reset the tempo
what a video edit! Im comming to moab first week of october for 6 days, what would you suggest us to ride?

Are you running a gimbal, or is it just that smooth?
@LukeMTB

Gimbal - most everything from Upper Porcupine on is bumpy, gnar-ish.
Awesome Video! This place is Beautiful! Are you riding 27.5 or 27.5 Plus?
@LukeMTB
6 жыл бұрын
thanks man - 2.3-4 in the rear, 2.5 out front. I haven't really seen any of the great riders use plus tires, especially in races, so I'm thinking there's a reason.

I did it in the wet so I know what it is like. Slip-n-Slide. 17% or more gradient.
Love the bike design kzread.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L and functionality. It is hard to align the front tired to center the disk brakes. The brake wheel touches the stationery side of the brake caliper and pad. I aired the tire up to 40 psi as the markings say 40-60psi. Left the house for a few hours and came back to an exploded innertube.All in all it seems to be a good bike. Have not ridden it yet though so that's the max of my knowledge. Update, put a new innertube made sure the tire was set properly and it did the same thing in under 20 minutes as second pic shows.
What size memory chip for your go pro ran out?

I dunno prob a 64gb. I didn't take recording rides on a GoPro too seriously until a little more recently, now I at least carry a backup if I'm riding something worth recording.

LukeMTB I’m riding MOAB next month so I was just curious. Awesome video as well🤙🏼
What's the song name at 3:23?
steazy
It went together easily in less than an hour. kzread.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Make sure the front fork is forward or the pedals will hit the front tire. Tires are both a little soft so it needs air before I ride it. The rear wheel didn't come with a clamp regular bolts hold it on. The front had the clamp. No scratches out of box. Rims are a little off with a slight wobble. They could have spent more time with the spoke tool fixing the run out. So far out of the box I'm happy with it. I did replace the pedals with a nice aftermarket set. After riding it a bit my A$$ is a bit sore so I ordered another seat. Overall I'm nearly 60 and didn't ride a bike in 30 years. I like my new 29" Schwinn. It will be used for casual rides with my friend.
How’s the cell reception there?

Thanks yes amazing terrain out there. Gotta bring more storage next time for these longer rides, but that covered all the best parts except for the very end, which got pretty bottlenecked with riders anyway.
You ride your brakes at like 3 o'clock. How do you do that? Tilt those babes a little. Looks like your fingers are doing a "reach around".
