Came here from your top 7 mods for D/B video. While adding rear steer simple haven't seen anyone show what they did to mount rear of body after removing stock mount for servo clearance. I didn't see how you addressed?
@rockyrcАй бұрын
I don’t 100% remember what I did but I used magnets. This build got torn apart pretty quickly for new builds!

Thanks! Funny how that happens👍 I'll try to slide stock mount forward w/ velcro. if that doesnt work a bridge w/ mag or velcro would work.

Oh very nice! I love this color combo! I've been on the fence about building one of these for a few reasons. Durability of the 3D printed parts is my biggest concerns. I share this hobby with my kids and fear these would be a little fragile. What are you thoughts? Do you know what the compatibility is with this chases and Injora parts are, such as aluminum skid, links, and how similar Injora's +4 aluminum axles are to LGRP super 8? I'd like to use some parts I already have to help with the cost and make it stronger. Appreciate any info or insight you have!
@rockyrc Жыл бұрын
I’d say probably not the best for kids to use. It is a very strong 3D print compared to most however it’s definitely built for slow crawling technical lines not really just bouncing around. There’s also a cheaper option by Meus Racing it’s also 3D printed but it’s a lot cheaper so if it did break it wouldn’t be as bad. (My most recent upload shows that body) and as far as axles go I believe it will work with most axles but it just won’t be ideal. The super 8s are set up for correct suspension geometry so with Injora or stock axles it won’t have perfect geometry but will still work.
@omeletn Жыл бұрын
@@rockyrc thanks I appreciate your input. I just finished building my kids the new Injora Rock Buggy chassis to play with, so that should keep them entertained for now :) I did see the MEUS Ripper chassis and thought about building it, but I like appreciate the extreme detail LGRP put into their Ripper. I'll probably go ahead and build one mostly for myself once they are back in stock (I heard this weekend!) and maybe grab their Ultra24 chassis to give my kids their next RC to enjoy with me. I have Injora's +4 axles and I was comparing them to picture of LGRP Super 8 axles, they are noticeably different however all the link locations look to be the same so I'll stick with those for now and see how it goes. I'll probably build some Super 8s later, but it's a lot to buy all at once! Oh one last question if you don't mind, is the trans skid that comes with the kit aluminum or plastic?
@rockyrc Жыл бұрын
It’s plastic but I believe they do offer a metal skid for it.

how the heck are you braking the panhard mount? The problem with the dig and 2wd, 4wd Server set is insane. I dont know why everyone gives that RC so much a good review. For the price we pay the issues are to big. Bad servos, bad concept with dig, 2wd and 4wd way, bad shocks and a manual with errors. I build many Axial RC cars but had never such a bad kit. I spend 700 on that kit with addons and I am disappointed. I also burned about 3 or 4 servos. 1 or 2 of them even from another brand. I got a 1/8 with 4 small servos which never burned. Video is great.
