@ZiangsFoodWorkshop i find it hard to get MSG but my local Chinese supermarket sell pots of salt and pepper seasoning , the ingredients say it contains MSG is this a good alternative to use as general seasoning ??

I know part of the magic in this dish is the soft pork but.... can it work with other meats and/or poultry such as chicken or duck too?

IF you could do a large egg roll video, that would be great. Can you make them with a mixture of pork, chicken and beef, please.

Very interested in doing this soon... so the stock, could that be used as sauce base and then thicken? TIA 👍

it's going to sound weird and yes i love american chinese and traditional chinese food, i love cooking it too, my quick version of a sweet & sour sauce is ketchup and mix it with seasoned rice vinegar, it's soo good for sweet & sour chicken, sweet & sour chicken balls, and i even made chicken thighs coated with panko and oven baked and served that sauce with it. 💕

i watched a video where you said wash rice 3 times out of tradition and leave the lid of rice cooker closed for ten mins after cooking before opening lid, I found if i stick my finger in through the rice messure where the rice comes to on your finger and double it with water ( so if rice if not at knuckle and half way from tip to knuckle add water to knuckle) rice cooked nice breaks up easy. Nearly there with my egg fried rice, just adding and adjust the amount of egg for the portion size and amounts of sugar msg salt and soy now for my taste

It's called seaweed because surprise suprise it's a hell of a lot cheaper than actual seaweed. It's not a branding thing it's a con.

Yeah you’re defo reform 😂 it’s not description of the goods it’s the name as directly translated from the ancient Chinese translation of the dish is guess what “seaweed” Marks and Sparks, Sainsbury’s, tescos, all have there own named seaweed, in the description is what’s it’s made off, I’m sure there legal teams are better than you 😂😂😂😌😂😂 🛎️end

My daughter is Gluten Free and struggling to find Chinese takay she can eat. Using Instant custard powder and potato starch means she can eat this Hong Kong sweet and sour. By the way custard powder was invented by a pharmacist, his wife loved custard but was allergic to eggs.

As long as you dont say anything ignorant against white people, then by all means block the bad behavior. We still have ignorance headed our way, from the fact that we get different recipes compared to how you guys say you do it

you guys start off by saying not to speak certain things .........and then tell others that you can speak ......i think you shouldn't block people just because your feelings are hurt or someone says something different to what you like.
