A Day In History

A Day In History

A Day In History brings to you the unsaid, weird, and ugly parts of history that are not taught in textbooks, along with some more hopeful sections of our past. With so much misinformation everywhere, our aim is to shed light on some of history's most suppressed but factual events.

And Serbs used this as an excuse to murder hundreds of people in Vukovar 50 years later.

Homo Naledi is an clear example of evolution. Naledi was successful in reproducing and maintaining a population and did not need to 'evolve' to continue. There are lots of branches in the human bush including cross connections. However, once a population is successful, it does not need to change.

Be careful, facts and logic are nearly criminal anymore. Remember the message, America is awful, everyone else was nice and perfect before we came around.

The Soviets, just like the Czarist Russia, deliberately created ethnic tensions so that the enslaved peoples would be busy fighting each other and not unite against the oppressors. A clever strategy, I must admit, albeit an evil one.

Well-researched and well presented. I've been researching the psychology of war for a long time, and this is invaluable information. Thanks.

It would be laughable, if it wasn’t so stomach-churning, that some of the very same people who served in this war, are now crying out in protest over Russia doing equally as despicable things. It’s no wonder Russia laughs at our calls for no-fire on civilians in Ukraine. 🤦

How can you say serbs wont learn or read the latin script. When we have a problem in the country due to overuse of latin script opposed to cyrlic. Pretty much everything you see on teh street in serbia is written in latin, and maybe under it in cyrilic, unlike russia where latin is nowhere to be seen.

This lame as hell. Look at letters to king George. Africans like all lands had prisoners of war. But unlike Europeans. Africans allowed them to gain freedoms and even office. The euros saw this and asked for the slaves. But then started kidnapping citizens. We got receipts stupid

Go back as far as you want in history, the conclusion is humans are disgusting creatures. Most want peace yes, but for those in power that quickly dissipates into greed, which leads into power hunger to further their greed, which eventually leads to egregious acts. (People cannot control other people) This has been shown over and over again, and it's a failed model. We need something higher to discipline us when necessary and put everything in check. Until that day, the horrors and unjustified wars will continue. We can step foot on the moon, cure diseases, unlock the dna strand, yet we cannot. Get. Along. If it wasn't so pathetic and unfortunate..it would be truly laughable looking from a distance. 🤦🏻

Hué is simply one of the many war crimes ordered by Ho Chi Minh that are forgotten by historians, other atrocities committed by the NVA and Vietcong include the Đắk Sơn massacre and Montagnard genocide.
