Exposing North Korea's Diabolical Atrocities

North Korea is not your typical communist state. It strangely includes racial and social prejudice in how its society is formed, and what's more, includes the unborn in its classification system, called “Songbun.”
Though there are literally dozens of classifications within North Korean, there are three basic categories: “Core,” “Wavering,” and “Hostile.”
People in the “Core” category are desencdants of those who fought against the Japanese from 1910-45, people whose family were workers, peasants or laborers when North Korea became a country, and high-ranking party members and their families, almost all of whom had ancestors from the groups just mentioned.
The “Wavering” group are the bulk of the North Korean population, who are watched not only by the secret police, but by each other, and have their files and lives investigated every two years.
The last group are those who are descended from former landowners - considered to have taken advantage of the working classes for centuries, and criminals. Those who break the law, and this includes people who try to flee the DPRK, have tainted their descendants for at least three generations - and there is virtually nothing they can do about it. One other group often categorized in the “hostile” group are those with Chinese or Japanese blood. As you can see, North Korea bears more resemblance to Hitler's Germany in the value it places on “the blood,” than anyone in North Korea would admit.
As in every system, there are likely exceptions, and it's easy to imagine that someone who performs an unusual act of bravery in the military service is going to be moved up the ladder, but there is so much we don't know about the inner workings about North Korea that it's difficult to say.

This is a reupload because the initial version was demonetized by KZread. We had to make some minor censorship adjustments. Correction: Kim Jong Nam fell victim to assassination when a woman, who believed she was participating in a prank show, attacked him with the nerve agent VX.

America isn't great I've lived in America it's only good if your the 1% Uber Uber Capitalism meant most were. Dirt poor having 2 jobs and can't make rent as there is no control on price and you pay over the top prices just so companies and CEO's already rich can make GROSS profit. Prescriptions are highest in the world with $80 per bottle Many many Black, Hispanic men in prison just for profit as everything is privatized Many women have kids taken away and put into a system Foster for " profit" and they never them. If your homeless in America which many are due to the UBER CAPITALISM and many struggling even though they work they can't make rent put into JAIL LIKE- INCARCERATIONAL shelters where they are bullied, abused and have their belongings stolen by staff and the staff get away with it with no accountability as the government give them too much power and if your poor in AMERICA your criminalized to prop up the prison 4 profit system. America was vastly CORRUPT if your rich you get away with anything and if your poor your criminalized to rationalize the UBER Capitalism system that is a reverse robin Hood Robbing the working class and giving everything to the 1% the RULING CLASS who have all the power and the working class have none America is too Authotarian

2nd Class Travis King, 23, was expelled by North Korea in late September and taken into U.S. custody in neighboring China, officials said at the time. His release came two months after he ran across the fortified border between North and South Korea, where he was stationed. He is facing eight charges. Army Pvt. Travis King, who crossed the border into North Korea before being returned to the U.S. in September, has been charged with desertion, according to military charging documents a source close to the case shared with ABC News Thursday night.19 Oct 2023

The fact that China props up the North Korean regime with both military and financial aid is yet more proof that the Chinese Communist Party has no morals. This video, though generally accurate, offers us a slightly toned down version of how bad things are in North Korea. I have in my 63 years of life met two women who escaped from North Korea, and the stories they had to tell could truly haunt you forever. A lot of the emotional impact of their stories came from being face to face with them, beginning to know them as decent people with warm and generous spirits, and then after that finding out how they had been treated and what they had witnessed. Those were memorable though somewhat painful conversations. I am not ashamed to say that listening to one woman had me in tears at one point. Most North Koreans never escape.

The two young women who attacked him had the two building blocks of the nerve agent, each girl had one part splashed on their hands. The girls then touched Kim's face mixing the two parts activating the nerve agent. If you see the video, you can see their gloved hands touching his face. You're right, this is an incredibly important piece. In addition there's a huge torture camp in North Korea specifically for Christians. Over 200,000 people are held and tortured there according to an article I read in a major news outlet some years ago (Newsweek or some comparable source). If someone becomes a Christian the NK government will put their entire families into that hellish place. Christianity is growing underground despite that, but it's a horrific government that hopefully will topple and get changed, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Considering South Korea is ruled by coorperations and ultra captialistic, its understandable that they would develop more socialist and communist views. Living conditions for families have become so hard to the point where South Korean has the lowest child birth rates because no one wants to raise children in an enviroment where sucide rates among teenagers are so high because competition is so high. Poverty rates and the divide between the poor and rich is terrible too. South Korea developed as a country so fast that it didn't have time to develop socially at the same pace. However, saying this I am not advocating for communism, I personally think there are lots of merits to particular socialist policies which South Korea could massively benefit from.

I wish the Diplomatic missions in North Korea illustration had an explanation, a legend, to explain the colors. Why are some countgries in red, one in very light blue, others in regular/medium blue, and still others in dark blue. I get that the light gray probably means no diplomatic missions, but why 3 colors for the rest (which makes it look like a fair number, even if not a majority of the world, still has missions in N.K.)? Edit: ah, rewatching, I see that there is a legend when the illustrations slides quickly to the right. Kim Jong Un's pic blocks that --should remove that so people have a chance to see what the heck that illustration is trying to tell. I guess I need to try to catch the slide at the right moment... Edit #2: Nope, it slides too fast, the legend is blurred.

I will very patiently explain to you that all dictators are not communists, and not all communists are dictators. Mussolini and Hitler were fascists, which is extreme right-wing nationalism combined with iron-fisted social control. Dictators nonetheless. I will further point out that Trump wants to be a dictator in the mould of Putin, Xi, Kim Jong Un, Ceausescu, and other miscellaeneous despots around the world, living and dead. I don't know if you've noticed how much he admires these tyrannical types. It's like being royalty without being royal. But only just, because trumptards actually believe him to be annointed by an imaginary skyman who speaks through extremely rich and greedy prophetic mega-church pastors. The more closely you start to observe the world, the more ridiculous most of it becomes.

North Korea is a totalitarian dictatorship with a single autocratic party, not a communism. They subscribe to communist ideologies, but under a dictator. Countries that people generally think are communist are failed communist states. They have ended capitalism, but never get to the communist phase, usually ending in or near an autocratic government. There are also many people who would prefer this type of government.

Good commentary, except for the part where it said that the first Kim started the Korean war "despite hesitation from Stalin". The reality is that Stalin's spies in the State Department had passed on that Truman had stated in private that he would not authorize the use of nuclear weapons. With that, it's more than likely that the USSR egged on Kim to start the war, hoping a quick regional win. The same information likely motivated the Chinese to enter the war as well.

One bitter lesson to learn in dealing with the countries of the world is that some are like NK. You either have to negotiate with them, ignore them & if you can’t do that it is war. That is what makes foreign policy difficult. It is the art of dealing with the lessor of 2 evils. That is why the CIA dealt with the Mujahideen in Afghanistan that had a little known member named Osama Bin Laden, the Islamist Iranian government for military parts… and North Korea. Unless you want to go to war with many parts of the world, you have to deal with them. Some people just refuse to see that simple fact that sometimes it comes down to picking the lesser of 2 evils- Do your best to negotiate or go to war. Of course, negotiation does not mean being a doormat. It is a difficult art. And remember, flattery is cheap if it achieves a victory in negotiation.
