Good day , it's a pity that it's the same everywhere as it is in the Czech Republic 🇨🇿. When I got my first CNC milling machine, everyone thought that I would just insert the material, turn it on, and a finished part would come out. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your videos 👍📹 and am very much looking forward to the continuation; you provide us with a lot of inspiration.

Maybe try making videos with a head mounted go-pro, similar to Jay Kenji Lopez Alt (here on youtube)? It may take less set up and work better to show processes.

Being a cnc machinist myself I love these type's of videos showing your thought process and what goes into a product such as this. Most people have no idea how complex it is to make stuff they just think they appear out of fat air and complain about the price without fully understanding what has gone into a precision machined knife like you have planned so good on ya for releasing a video series for this.
Had a guy come along the workshop a few years ago wanting me to make a watch for him. He literally said, "You just put the piece of metal in and press 'go'." If only. 😂
@@MagnusMacdonald I always find it funny when I tell people what I do as a machinist they have no idea what it is they do. I explain it to them saying everything man made on this planet is only possible because of machinists from the food on their plate to the clothes on their backs and they just looks at me with a dumb face. The hardest part of my job is getting useful staff and when people don't even know what a machinist is it really shows how bad the situation is.

Yeah. Going to say all the fuckery and misinformation with the Clickshift. "ALL Titanium parts" (oh no wait they got plastic...whoops). "Zirc in the mech" (oh wait...some got Zirc some got plastic...whoops!). I'm not a supporter anymore. Get your QC or your CS in cheque. Either or but the communication barrier is not acceptable.
Hopefully have learned from that... but time will tell.

Hey Magnus, my name is Byron, I was wondering what is the reason Warren stop producing the titanium cheese grater / peeler? and to my knowledge, it is rather difficult to make titanium sharp, the polishing is just a nightmare. Anyway, it seems there is no way I can get my hands on any of them now. The design and the photos look amazing, well done and such a pity they are not available anymore.

Get cracking on that new Titanium pen. My original click titanium pen you made back in 2017 no longer holds the pen in the deployed position. I can't wait for the new pen to be released. I signed up for the email distribution notification and will purchase the day its made available. Release a video on the new pen and who us how how it functions. Any ETA on this project yet? They use dimples on some race boats to reduce friction and f1 racing cars too
I don't know why people don't use a c clip bevelled level with the face to hold the knife together I've got a out the front slide knife that uses a similar concept and it leaves it screw less clean and crisp looking but still has all the strength you need sorry for the rambling by the way I absolutely love the scale your son produced great grip very good looking just space it out a bit more

The keys in the vice are interchangeable and should be ordered to your t-nut rail size. Size of the vice is not the issue. Best, Job
