What's good!
I love the outdoors and using any method possible to spread awareness for Mental Health.
I dealt with a lot of it on my own and although it may not be the focus of this channel it will be intertwined every now and then.
I am currently in grad school studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling, while pursuing being able to create content for this channel full time.
Email me for any potential sponsorships or business inquires that may help me achieve that goal!

Great video! Great advice. Thank you.
bruh at 6:21 in the gmod plane bruh what the hell
Nice video! Do you primarily sight fish with live mullet or are you blind casting them to good looking spots?
Depends on the area I am fishing but if a spot looks good to me, I will be blind casting on it for sure.
Great video. What county do you fish?
Did not know Mayans can survive saltwater wow
Caught me off guard! Haha
Keep em comin! Great video
Thank you!
adapt and improvise. great vid homie
Thank you!
Great video, Jake. I’ve had my Mosquito for 5 years, 60 Suzuki as well. Took me a few props to get it dialed in, but I’m running a 3 blade Power Tech and getting 35mph with two people at 6000rpm. Hole shot is excellent. If you’re ever on this side of the state, Ramlin trailers are behind the Orlando Airport, they’ll get that pin out. If you get it out, keep it greased, I’m willing to bet that’s why it seized. I grease it with marine grease a few times a year. Grease the jackplate at the same interval. You can also have them switch your spare tire mount to their “airboat” spare tire mount. Changes the weird angle on your current mount and the boat won’t make contact with it. Ramlin has amazing customer service. As for the backrest, if you call BeaverTail, they can send you new bushings for that seat hinge and it will tighten it back up. Had to do that with mine once as well. For the fuel gauge, all those damn analog fuel gauges go bad, but that’s an easy swap. On my boat, when you run wide open, the binacle “throttle” is about 1/8” from touching the console, I’m guessing that’s the reasoning for not mounting the stereo hub in that location. Very informative and honest review. The Mosquito is an amazing little skiff. I still get compliments at the ramp. Runs shallow, poles very shallow and extremely quiet, handles chop with ease and is a very dry boat. Only time I’ve gotten wet is when quartering in windy conditions and the wind is blowing the spray. Ran across Whitewater Bay with my buddy following in an HPXV and we both got a little wet, so I don’t fault BT, some conditions are just crappy. Other than that it runs very dry. Love your videos and when you fish with Lawson. Always nice work.
Appreciate all the advice!! Genuinely a ton of help.
Nice fishing buddy 👍👍👍..
Thank you!
Killin it! Pretty work Jake
Thank you!
Hello Jake , your KZread channel is awesome. I own a beavertail vengeance with a swing tongue trailer I’m in the process of buying a home, and keeping my skiff in my garage. Could you tell me the measurement of your garage? Thank you.
I am not completely sure on my Garages dimensions. I can figure that out for you soon. But I have a mosquito so my boats sizing is a little different. I would probably bend the tongue on yours and measure from the prop on the engine that sticks out up to the further front part of the trailer to get an accurate picture of how much room you need.
@@JakeJenkins actually the mosquito is 2” longer than the vengeance, the garage of the home that I’m purchasing is is 21.4 by 21.4 , thank you .
Hey Jake. Just curious what Rod and Reel combo you using?
Shimano Stella Diawa Steez can’t go wrong with either or
Don't get caught with lobster and spear gear at same time!!
On your folding tongue, try to spray this stuff called PB blaster on it. I had some rusted out trailer lug nuts that I could not get off, sprayed it with some PB blaster and was able to easily get them off afterwards. Nice boat and love seeing you and Lawson catch fish on it!
PB blaster is legendary and I went through a hole bottle trying to get it out 😂 unfortunately not even the Pb could get the job done. Appreciate the shout though! Maybe i'll spray it daily for like a week and see if over time it works haha
I’ve owned my strike for 7 years now and guiding off of it for the last year and a half and I love it! I don’t have a lot of experience on other skiffs but i swear it’s the driest smoothest little boat you’ll ride in.
Great video man was looking into these for a while, thanks for the honesty!
Im taking the skiff out on Thursday, I'll be binge watching your content until then. Good stuff bro. 🤙
Lets goooo good luck!!!

Keep it up Jake! Looks like an awesome day
Man I just discovered your channel and WOW! Your an exceptional person and your fishing vids are amazing to learn from
Thank you! I'm learning a ton as I go and from some great people around me so it helps when a lot of it is fresh to me!
Is there an advantage to the weighted hook? Since it’s your preference what is the advantage you see?😊
For me, I think most people just like lures and things that have worked for them before and often that just means they have thrown it more often. I don't want to sit here and say it works because this because at the end of the day, being at the right place at the right time is the most important haha. But, my personal reasoning is i just like how it sinks faster and I can sort of imitate a shrimp movement better with it if i see a black drum. I think snook like a weightless better, i have had better luck on redfish and black drum with weighted!
Whats the Baitcaster setup
It is a Daiwa Lexa WN amzn.to/4bZC88l on a St. Croix Mojo Inshore amzn.to/4clEuyb

Damn I guessed right on the money with that redfish lol. That was a picture perfect one btw 👌
You could snell knot that one lure that had a messed up eye. It’d be a pain in the @$$ but it’ll work
Good to see you back. I use those some too. The tarpon love em too, especially dock tarpon at night (in white).
I've used the little ones for lil tarpon before! Big fan.
