Your surface grinding wheel is probably out of balance. Also grinding length wise with can warp the part, pulling it off the magnet.

Ryan Herold where were you two years ago when I was trying to figure this out, lol. But yeah in my case it was part wheel balance and part just wrong wheel.

What cutting speed do you used for little endmill and how often it break? Thanks, usefull videos!

Aleksey Plotnikov do you mean the end mill I cut the lock bar with? That's a cheap 1/16" end mill. 5100rpm about .9ipm. they last forever. The depth of cut is only about .012" though. I edit out some of the passes to speed up video.

Yes, exactly this I meant. I thought It can be made only by electroerosion or hydro abrasive handling. Thanks for your work!

This is beautiful work, where did you learn how to manipulate Fusion 360 like this? I have been using it for only a few months and am trying to find some sort of training to get better.

You make a very nice knife, it's too bad that you are not more well known. I really love the shape of the blade, do you call it a drop point or what? It does come down, but not in the arc one usually sees in a drop point. And I like how the spine comes up a bit near the pivot before going down like an arrow to the tip.
