    A little portable ramp could even be used for ease of operation (or eliminate lifting). Nice that the battery can be left on during transit for convenience. I only have 1 sur ron (lite bee x)

    My fingers stumbled on this video and was I surprised. Thank you for the wonderful memories it all brought back. This whole area was my playground for four years in the early 1960's as my dad and his friends reopened the mines. The entire venture was a bust. It was called Paymaster Mining Co. We had left Seattle and settled for a while in Pateros. The whole rural experience had a lasting impact as I currently live in the Sierra Nevada Foothills out in the woods. Never did make it to the summit. Thanks again.

    Thanks for the video... I've been messing around with the belt tension quite a bit and wondered if you had a very difficult time trying to align the motor? I did the same as you and used calipers to measure where the bolts line up on either side within the slots and find it extremely difficult. The amount of upward force on one side and downward force on the other to align the bolts makes me worry that I'm actually damaging the threads.

  • @allwaysadventuring3544
    @allwaysadventuring3544 Жыл бұрын

    Just make sure you loosen those bolts up enough to freely move the motor up and down, and lock it in with the little lever by the motor cover. The screwdriver or lever will help a lot with helping provide the right amount of tension. It does take a bit of finagling, but you’ll get it

    My guess is that it would be your belt or a bearing. I’ve heard that both at times can make a clicking sound. Make sure your belt is not too tight. I made a video that you can watch to check. Also, jackshaft bearings when they go bad make some pretty terrible noises. These are usually the most common culprits

  • @allwaysadventuring3544
    @allwaysadventuring35442 жыл бұрын

    Thanks man, I really appreciate it! I love this bike! The range is actually better than my friends x bike somehow. And that is checked with voltage, and not the battery reading. The battery reading is definitely not accurate, which is the only thing that I don’t like. Other than that, everything works great and you don’t have to fiddle with a bunch of tuning like you do on aftermarket controllers. I’d highly recommend this bike if you can get one. Next best thing is to get a controller and a battery, or a battery bypass. Let me know if you have to go that route, as I can give you some advice or people to talk to to save you a little money or the best tune. Good luck man! I will also be doing a new mods video soon!
