regarding the location: I would bet good money that this is not Germany but rather Austria or Switzerland. both of them are fully in the alps, whereas Germany only has a very slim strip at the southern most border. The more central mountain ranges are medium sized, a bit like Buleridge. In Fact, most things Germany is known for are specifically bavarian or from southern Germany: Alps, Lederhosen, 1L beer mugs and so on. Germany really does not have much of the Apls. Maybe its worth a video?

Then it comes to Democrats & Republicans in the US, how not to remember the old Russian saying: Игра была равна - боролись два говна! Which means: it was a fair game, both sides were utter shit!

US soldier stationed in Germany, who asked me: "how come most people drive import cars here? it's all VW, BMW, Mercedes and Audi." me, as well as several of his comrades tried to explain to him, what the word "import" means, and that a Mercedes was domestic vehicle in germany, and a Chevrolet would be an import. he didn't seem to grasp the concept.

"No right on red in Europe" is a lie - there are some crossings where you're allowed to turn on red - it's shown by a small sign (a black metal square with a green arrow) for example in Germany or Austria

roundabouts...there's is two types even in the USA. Yield to enter and yield for incoming. Yield to enter is by far the most common in Europe. Yield to enter always get completely stuck during rush hour and make no sense at all. In some US states they are the default.

About the speed limit signs, that's one thing I dislike here in Europe. There's a lot of places that don't have these signs, and where it's confusing. Nowadays, the GPS (or Google Maps or Waze) will show you the speed limit, but if these aren't available, you might accidentally be speeding, or going too slow. :\

I've driven a lot on German highways, 99% of the cars don't go over 120-130ish (which is the standard (un)official limit for most European countries) .. Just some showoffs with daddy's car do more. If you need to drive very long distances and need the speed, then you're using the wrong vehicle. The airport is THAT way.

I am going to rectify this a little bit. You can use a credit or a debit card pretty much everywhere in the EU these days, and mostly contactless. For instance, Wizzair and Ryanair accept payments with Visa, Mastercard and American Express, so you should be fine with any of those. Since COVID it really had become rare to use cash. And yes, there is right on red, in most EU countries indicated by an additional signal arrow beside the main traffic light. And finally, no, you don't get cows in the middle of the road, unless your are in a very rural area that is clearly indicated by the signs. Do come to Europe, it is fun!

Stickers for Tolls? how absurd is that! why don't they have Toll Tags/Transponders for Tolls? Your account just gets debited for the toll, much more convenient than having to stop and put money into a toll booth.

14:12 Please, if you're driving under the speed limit, and cars are queing up behind you, do pull over and let them pass. It's incredibly frustrating to be stuck behind someone driving under the speed limit, and it's not always easy to find a spot to pass. Some people will still TRY to pass, miscalculate, and cause an accident. It won't be your fault, but you will be a contributing factor, and you will be first on a crash scene (and you might even end up in the accident yourself). People do get killed because people drive slow and don't pull over!

for switzerland i can say: two way roads dont always have a middle line, especially not in the moutains or countryside. you are allowed to surpass another car tho. same goes for dashed lines. on roads or road sections with solid lines (or double solid lines) its strictly forbidden. usually in dangerous sections of roads. :)

Hey Ryan, if you want to drive in another country, it is always your responsibility to find out about the local traffic rules beforehand. If I as a European are driving in the US, I also can't apologize to the police because the signs and rules there aren't the same as those at home.

About the traffic cameras, one thing he forgot to mention is that in some places it's not just at that one spot, but they check you on a longer distance. So there's 2 cameras, 1 at the start of that road and one at the end. So you can't just slow down to the correct speed at the 1st camera and then speed up again. They'll calculate your average speed between those 2 cameras : distance traveled vs time passed.

If you have an American driving license, rent an automatic car. They do not have a license for manual cars. If you come to Southern Europe, don't worry about the cows, wild boars are more common.
