I completely agree with you and this young man has no respect for others!!! He needs to be responsible by paying for his fines in full and quit being reckless before he ends up hurting himself or someone else!

It makes more power than the 6.4 because its twin turbocharged. Why not a turbocharged 5.7 with forged internals?

Was really considering a scat pack but as my first personally owned car I’m just gonna op for the RT. Sweet V8 and sweet sound. Solid performance and a good daily driver. The Scat Pack is pricier and takes 91 Octane. Imma start with an R/T and see how the next few years go.

The guy plead guilty to an assault charge of his own mother. Regardless of the car stuff (hilarious that she had to co-sign the title for him to get a hellcat in the first place), dude should be in prison. A son that beats their mom over a cup of coffee doesn't deserve anything in life.

American muscle, especially muscle cars, are all about presentation and nothing presents better than a gnarly V8. There have always been engines with lesser than 8 cylinders that produce more power, but so few of them have one over the public and that's what really needs to happen before any model is accepted into the American power lexicon. Nobody gives a flying fuk about Dodge right now unless it has something to do with buying them out and getting them out of the hands of Stellantis.

Not 95% of all dealerships are shut down. There are plenty of dealers that do not run CDK. There at 18133 new car dealers in the USA alone. CDK has roughly 15000 customers in the US and Canada.

No interest in Stellantis as a company. I don't mind they brought this in as an option. I do mind how they bought the company for the patents, neutered the lines, and promptly announced mass layoffs at the American plants. That isn't business, it's conquest.

Dodge is fine. The problem is the builders do not match the cam to the car. This car is not bad . The area under the the curve is nice. Tighten the Lsa add some lift and put the duration in the 230-235 range on the intake. You can run a single pattern but stretching the exhaust out a little will help the top end carry. The Tomahawk 2.0 is probably the best street cam for a 392 with a noticeable idle. The Titan II is the biggest stock piston but i dont like the 116lsa which gives up 3-4lbft per degree under about 3800rpm. Should make more peak though. If you flycut the pistons or use after, the Trident would be a max effort cam but should be ok on the bottom end because of the LSA staying fairly tight at 112. 232int 244exh 635lift with 108-110 LSA would be a monster.

"....but if it's a video that is negative...I blew up my 170 engine or I drove my 170 off a cliff and into a boat or whatever....PEOPLE WILL WATCH THE CR*P OUTTA THAT" - these are now well-established facts in this day and age of social media. No wonder "content creators" like *something-something*Diesel (we all know which one I'm referring to here) get millions of views and millions of people subscribing to his channel. Ridiculous!

They caused this on themselves. Getting over on the American people. Charging people 60,70,80 and even $100,000 for cars and trucks that cost 10,000 to 20,000 to build. And thats from start to finish labor and shipping included.

Stellantis could have expanded the Dodge/ Chryser line up by making tree hugger vehicles, but leaving the Challenger and Charger alone, still making V8's to get the communist socialist American EPA off their back, but they didn't, its pure laziness. It was recently known that Stellantis having to pay credits and penalties for making V8's was all lies, they want to sabotage Dodge/ Chrysler/ Ram on purpose. Stellantis can get themselves out of this mess, but they won't, on purpose. I will keep my 2018 Challenger T/A for as long as I possibly can.

Not only it's bad for us and give us a bad reputation, but also it push the governments to add more constraints, because some imbeciles does not know the meaning of the word "limits". Me, myself, and I. Selfish. Seeing the footage at the end of your video was mind blowing, this guy deserves no less to have his car revoked + a serious fine.

I kind of feel for Tim. He ushered in dodges 2nd golden age in the 2010's. Now the awesome legacy he should have is kind of ruined because stellantis tied his hands and took away everything that made dodge the brand American enthusiast love. Hopefully as time goes on people will see that these decisions wasn't his fault and they will respect what he did for dodge before the European conglomerate stepped in and messed everything up.

While I have no doubt that it's a sound powerful replacement for the hemi engines. One thing you failed to mention is the added complexity of adding 2 turbo to an engine. The great thing about the hemi v8s is that they were simple cam in block v8s. Anyone can work on them and they were forgiving to fuel requirements. A twin turbo 6 cylinder will demand premium fuels to run right, and will not tolerate poor/regular fuel. Add in the complexity and 2 additional fail points of turbos and associated parts. For is doing the tt v6 thing and those things suffer from all kinds of issues. Dodge had a niche market with these cars and there was still room for improvements. They were plenty of places to lighten them up for better mpg. Cast aluminum block and heads to start. Switch out the steel frt and rear rebars for aluminum, lightweight wheels and aluminum suspension components. That right there is 150-250lbs.

You can't speak for him yet you spout all kinds of reasons why he left. The new cars are going to have higher performance than the old ones with less cylinders. People said you couldn't sell full size trucks with smaller motors, yet they sell more of them. People said Dodge was going out of business for selling 4-door Chargers, now people cry because an ancient (in the car world) platform is being killed off. I've been driving almost exclusively Mopars since 1975. While I don't like the fact that Chrysler Corp. has been tossed around since the recession, and many bad decisions have been made over their entire history, I hope they make it. It is a business. They are out to make money. They can't do it on niche vehicles alone. They need to make good product that sells to the masses so they can make the specialty cars.

The age of drag racing is coming to an end. Look at new drag racing videos it's mostly old guys that were once young guys during the golden age. It's too expensive to campaign a car. Most young dudes can't foot the bill for blowing engines in Toyota Supreas and Dodge Vipers etc. Furthermore modern cars do not possess the same sinister appeal that the muscle cars of old possessed. Even if modern cars are maybe faster that faster is usually from nitrous which was cheating in the old days. In another 5 years I predict east coast drag racing will be extinct.

After 50 years you finally recognize that 6 cyl. turbo are better that V8?! then you should drive BMW all this years. But that is not the point. If that was true, all American companies will replace V8 long time ago. That is not a muscle, you can't upgrade it with super charger or turbo charger to achieve big muscle numbers. No replacement for displacement and so on...
