Am in the midst the post production on my first feature film. Just stopping by to say you helped me alot over the years. Godspeed and favorable winds to us!
Honestly this helped me understand finding the theme in a story better than the video my teacher provided in class 😅
where are you man ? I'm missing your videos
wow, amazing storytelling, inspiring as usual❤🔥
Thanks for sharing this intimate story with us, your community. You're greatness! You inspire me!
Oh, things you didn't know, I'll probably have to watch more times thanks
Bro ngl tht lincoln t shirt goes pretty hard
I've watched this video a few times and now I'm finally commenting to say that this documentary and a few other things have inspired me to write my own film. Not sure if I'll be able to do it how you did it (finance it myself, etc), BUT this is so helpful and insightful into how it workds. I've been out of university for 3 years, so I am very very rusty
I love practicing on my friends. They don't have a choice and sometimes don't know...
I want to shoot my films on film. How can I translate these requirements when I give instructions to the telecine people?
Wow 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
*cough* just gonna say, I live in Tennesse, my amazing locations are outside(an acquired taste perhaps). The Appalachians look nice in the right spots. You have reinforced what I'd been thinking about how I should get started. THAAAANKING YOOOooouuuuuu
MMMMmmmm, I was not yet to the point of accepting that studying Feature-length films wasn't the right way to go for now. We're gonna be starting with literally 5-minute videos, but they will tie together into a single storyline with around a 60-minute run-time.
Man this channel is unreal! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, and being so concise. Fun fact: if you wanna confuse a primate, you make a sound above their head. Our ears have no way of knowing which direction that sound is coming from. It's interesting that it's kind of the same thing with an overhead shot here. Disorienting. That was a new idea for me!
Even tho i cant record directly to the monitor, can I still play back video?
Many great filmmakers jump around these categories but Bergman is one of the few who I'd argue is all 4 at once.
25 cents raise 😂😂😂 that was a creepy short video… I love your own take on this topic. Very entertaining. Thank you!!!
I tell this to people all the time. Storytelling is infinitely important. Same with a book. You can have great grammar, word usage, literary devices, and so forth. However, if it's a lousy story it doesn't matter. Many great authors had great editors who cleaned up their grammar and so forth. These authors were great storytellers.
Superb
Hello. You are a great director and cinematographer. This is a good movie. I'm glad you're on KZread. And that I can watch your movie. Different peoples, different countries have similar problems, because we are all human. Hello and best wishes from Ukraine.
I watched this in May 2024 - No words to explain the value of this course!!! - every body who completed this work please accept my heartfelt gratitude🙏🙏🙏
Looks magnanimous
❤❤🎉🎉
Cool info, I’m on an m50. Started researching this after hearing about the Netflix list and last night was thinking, what about Hardcore Henry. Shot on a GoPro. But it’s not streaming on Netflix. Though another service does have it.
I used to watch you 10 years ago.
best suggestions to use thie H1N for recording a full rock band, in a inside practice room ? Ty
Bro! Where did you go?
if they don´t find the glasses, they cannot find nemo. So the first plot point is not the bomb explosion, is the moment when Dory can read the glasses, right?
Awesome video.
That tape is on both sides almost in the same space equally. Noone would even pay attention to it 1:40:
Nice, I'm going with the m50, and the 80d then...
got it bruh bruh
I too sometimes wish to not wake up because I too think no one would notice.
Hey, just watched 2 minutes and I have to stop to comments. Thank you so much, you inspired me A LOTTTT. I never drop a comment before but this time. Just drop here and will be back to update my 30-day testing your curriculums. 😄
I've watched this video before but this time I really needed to see it. It's given me motivation to continue my quest to make films. Thank you.
i think a potential way is to mess with the white balance to make the daylight fill almost like a moonlight
Loved it, wow!!

Awesome! And thanks for all the tips!!!
Instant subscribe. great video
You need to be in films, you're focused on the wrong side of the camera.
I don't even have a camera. Just an Iphone. LOL
⭐

Is it okay to still use Fade in and Fade out in a script?
this is gold . thanks
BOSS! Seven years later and I’m still coming to this ALC playlist… I can find no one anywhere at all doing breakdowns like this based on the psychology and how it effects the story in such great detail. ❤ you are so influential to so many people, probably more than you know!!!
