This is really one of the most useful tools for filmmaking. Keep hustling, my man!
Awesome. Love organization. Really glad you're moving into doing courses! 😀
I'm a long time lurker here. I am not a film or video creator of any kind but I enjoy peeking behind the curtain. I am a software engineer and let tell you any developer can write a shell script that does what post haste does in like fifteen minutes. That's probably why it's free. If it works for you that cool tho.
My brother from another mother! You, sir, are a GOD Send! after watching this video the other day I downloaded the Post Haste software and OMG!!!!!!!! It is amazing it has already saved me soooo much much time it is insane!!!!! Long time fan and subscriber, I have watched you grow and have learned so much from you. With this just the latest tidbit of knowledge, I just had to say THANK YOU! Keep doing what you are doing!!!! Love you, Man! TechSavvyDaddy OUT!
I love when channels have actionable advice/tutorials. This was great and I’ve learned so much from your channel to help evolve my skills over the last couple years. It’s great that these resources are out there. I look forward to you dropping those courses!
I have been watching for years and thought why isn't he making new videos, did he go away, something bad happen and BAM! here you are, good to see you again. Be safe and thank you for this info it will help a lot
As someone who struggles to stay organized with making my videos, I think this'll be a big help for me.
every tip you give is useful and actionable. Awesome stuff
These videos are always my favourite to watch on KZread
Bro... you CONSISTENTLY change my workflow for the better man. I’m finally writing my first “feature” Seriously, thanks for the inspiration bro.
Been using it for years! Love it - very handy. There is also a way for it to automatically label each subfolder it creates with a prefix that's the same as the top folder name. It can get cumbersome with such long folder names, but if you really want everything nice and tight and searchable, it's a nice feature.
This is certified gold, thankyou my guy
I'm yanking this for sound work. Thank you so much for this.
Thank you so much for the help developing my folder structure. You thought of everything and then some.
I didn't even knew... how much I needed this!
I needed this video sooooo bad! Thank you!
👏👏👏👏👏best software ever!!! Thank you so much!
Man, this is really going to help me! One of my biggest problems in making short films is the organization of my files. Thanks a lot, D! You have inspired me to be creative in making shorts even with a limited budget. I was able to finish my AWARD-WINNING short film recently, thanks to your help! Hope you guys, especially you man, could check it out!

Saw another tutorial for PostHaste....tried to follow it....made no sense!! You nailed it for me and I now know how to do this...Thank you!! Thank you!! Will be following, my Brother!!!
I needed this.
Very rad. I do need this. Thanks bro.
This is great info!!! Will put this software into play.
This is a godsend! I've had a system for organizing projects, but even then all my files tend to get jumbled up. This will definitely help keep things on track in the future. Thanks for doing what you do! Look forward to seeing more of your work in the future!
I’ve used post haste for years. A brilliant tool.
This is great man!
so glad you be posting again!

I really needed this! Thank you!
Very cool! Thanks. I needed this info - perfect timing! I will download this as soon as I finish current project.
Your the 1st one that really inspire me into filmmaking so its kinda sad that your not uploading that very much. But after this, oww thats why. Looking forward to that course😁
Thanks a lot D. Changing the game every video!
Hi D4 Darious, Thank you for your videos. I am writing a screenplay currently, and your videos really help me
I have been using Apple Automator for so many years... BUT THIS!! This is so much better! Thank you for making a video on this!
I was skeptical at the beginning of this video. You could just copy and paste your folder layouts. But you convinced me, it looks kind of cool. But I keep my project files all in one folder separate from the footage so maybe it's not for me.
This is a big help! Thank you!!
This was great. I've had Post Haste for a while, but never really cracked it open. Thanks to your clear walkthrough, I can now use it with confidence. Happy camper subscriber here. Thank you!
Awesome stuff man keep it up!
Nice one. Thank you for the pointer. This is a nice tool and I'll be using it on my next mixing projects. And keep up the great teaching work on this channel. As a re-recording mixer/dialogue editor/sound designer I appreciate passing out knowledge that leads to everyone having an easier time enormously. Take care.
You are awesome! I've learn a lot from your video.
Really interesting dude! Thanks for the tut! Your videos are really helping me to become a better editor bro, keep up the work!
d4! love you bro!! keep at it man! helped a TON!
Thank you fam! Helped me so much in my editing 2 class!! Really appreciate this 🙌🏽
I started following your content about a year ago, so I have some catching up to do. This is very helpful.
I was JUST thinking about this problem a few days ago and thought "there has to be an easier way..." as always, you're an angle sent by God bruh bruh 🔥
Thank you for this!!
I love your videos! You've taught me so much on your channel. Inspired me to finally make some! Please post frequently! Quality Content!
Awesome thanks for sharing!
Bro, you just saved me so much time!!! Thanks bro!
Wow, background is dope af
Maaan, came here for my routine information intake, and fell in love with the shirt Breaux ✊🏽🦁
I worked on a Cable Access soap opera for a year as the DP/editor. We shot with two cameras. I created a system that worked pretty good for me. I had a similar structure that you showed for each episode. I had a master folder for the show. In that folder was another folder for reusable elements like the intro and common B-roll. Then there was a folder for each episode in the master folder. Thanks for a great channel.
and this music is tight asf, you make great vids
It is very funny to me that this guy talks with so much confidence in his videos. Before you take any advice go check out the quality of his work/shorts.
Yo D4, love your content. Stay safe!
awesome stuff bro
Yo I'm so glad I got on this train years ago. I was blessed with knowledge of Post Haste when taking a Digital Asset Management weekend course at college (it was an elective lol). Post Haste has made making a new project folder a literal second thought. Just shot some stuff? Oh just open Post Haste, fill in my fields, click create, bing-bang-boom-ready to go. Beautiful stuff. Sometimes the program is a little buggy but the amount of time it saves me is so insane that had this not already existed I would have developed it myself. Plus I integrate it into my data management plan too, so Post Haste creates my project folder and Adobe Bridge lets me bulk-rename files using my nomenclature standard and copy them to their respective folders straight from the recording media. The turnaround time on ingest is limited only by how fast I can pull the footage off of my media. Edit: your folder organization is so darn close to what I use it's hilarious. Good to know I was thinking along the right lines.
Hey this is great! I was on the ball last year/early this year but I got frustrated with the folders and post work so I got overwhelmed. This helps so much thanks, bro! I always look forward to your videos 🤘🏻
Brilliant.
Amazing software, thanks bro!
I´m using this for few months...game changer...really.
I legit created a bash file so that I can click it and let Windows create the folders the way I want but this takes it a to a whole new level especially with the ability to rename my premiere project files. Thanks Darious!
Never been this early, great vid as always D4
Dope vid! I feel like not enough people know about Post Haste! Such an awesome tool.
you'd be surprised at how many ppl do not know about this, and then dont' want to take the time to set the templates. i have diff templates for youtube, clients, etc. fucking love this.
That was beautiful bruh bruh
thank you for the info!!
Thanks for this bro 💪
Brooo. Saw you on the creator studio. You got me man. Had to subscribe. Hoping to see more of you in the future!
Bra bra, you just saved my life! Booya 🤗
I want that T-Shirt... Post-Haste!! :) great content as always.
YEEEEEEEEEEEES !!! .. i searched years for an app like this .. uff!
i NEED that shirt!!
Yooooooo great info! I was in class at full sail and they played your video on explaining a Theme and I had to do some more research on your channel! First off, you are DOPE bro, I'm a creator as well and I really appreciate the info you got going on over here! I will be doing more catching up on your videos and joining your LS when you do them in the future, I'm eager to learn and become great! See you around!
VERY helpful!! Thanks for this - always pumping out the useful content! 👊🏾🔥. Also, do you have a rough date for when you are launching the sound course?
game changer!
Haha :D what an opening! I've been using Post Haste for a few years as well. But I still haven't configured it on my new machine. Almost 3 months now... I guess your video is a sign I need to finally do it :)
Heyyyyyyy it's about time.. I missed ya🤤💯💪🏿💅🏿👍🏿
Man...SO needed to see this! Smh...hurts to admit it, but my post production workflow has been my weakest suit. Thanks for the info, D4! Also, does anyone know whether *D4Darious* still does script reviews?

Get some automation in your life Bruh-bruh! also, I do. Link is in the description section.
Ur my inspo luv u bro 💕
Really enjoyed the video. I currently do a lot of timelapse but shoot video as well and have a ton of anxiety around working with the video files. I need to make a show reel and it seems like a big lift for me. Also, and totally random, which G-Shock are you wearing recently in your videos. I like how visible the hands are and the monochromatic look.
Didn't know this was possible... I know what I'm doing for the next few days haha. Thanks dude! New sub right here
awesome boss
This is fantastic. I find a lot of your videos contrarian. This one is a nice reprieve very very useful.
Love that mask, i want one lol. Hope you are well bro. Sorry we haven't been able to visit you for a while we were in Bulgaria then Malta were we got stuck due to Covid. But great to catch up with you again. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge with us really appreciate it. Stay safe and catch up again real soon God bless.
Biggest draw back I have seen with the app (note: last used about 3-4 yrs. ago) was that it doesn't let you create project templates that saves to different DRIVES. And, in Adobe, not being able to save to different drives can slow the program down for big projects.
This is so perfect. you're the goat
I would like to see what settings you use for your lumix G7 when you film indoors and outdoors also have you ever used lumafusion for video editing on iPad?
I learned a lot from you man, my channel thanks You...
Dun dig and I'm interested in the course.
i just got laid off from my job........for some reason i was seriously thinking about filmmaking for the past few weeks and never in my life have i wanted a thing more than filmmaking.....i knew that if i wanted to develop my skills from a hobbyist level to complete mastery of the craft I have to take risks and the first and greatest risk is quitting my job...... for a person living in somalia employment is not taken for granted like many things in third world countries although I had the privilege of dreaming about quitting my job for self fulfilment i didn't dare to do so. this afternoon when i was told i was laid off i felt strangely relieved and somewhat happy that it happened. I don't believe that everything happens for a reason but i believe in making the best of any situation and I'm gonna make the best of it by practicing and experimenting with what i was taught by people like Darius and the entire online filmmaking community. i thank you from the bottom of my heart for expanding my knowledge and feeding my interest in cinema and turning it into a love for filmmaking.
Is good!!
Very nice video...
Boom!
Respect bruh bruh!!! #REALTALK
