Great update. We will defo need to sign a new back up GK, once Kelleher has moved on. Gravenberch is still young and got plenty of potential, no way the club sells him after 1 season. One outgoing I'd like to see is Nunez but can any club afford the transfer fee and his high wages?

Endo has done a good job but hes no Fabinho, I think the Portuguese cdm Palhinha at Fulham could come in and do a better job, although Endo is still needed for depth, I’d give Nunez one more season also. A versatile winger that could play on the right or left wing could be ideal..maybe a new rb to allow Trent to move into midfield?

Midfield. Harvey is perfect in the 8. We have a few options for the 7 but no 6! Alex and Endo are simply mid table 6s. maybe with Conner at right back TTA could be our 6? But I strongly believe if we are going to win the league we need a star in the midfield. Bellingham would have been worth every penny.

@@thelmaviaduct Agreed he did struggle at the beginning and towards the end but he was coming off a season at Bayern where he didn’t play, then came to a new league/team etc. . Worth holding on to based on mid season improvement and the fact the coach will know his game better. No comparison to Harvey or Curtis who were great last season, Curtis’ injury came at such a bad time as he was really coming on to a game before hand, hopefully he can nail down his place this year

Edwards may be back, but the Liverpool of today is not the Liverpool that was coming up when he was wheeling and dealing like Redknapp. Every buying and selling club knows that Liverpool generate some of the highest revenues in world football, and they are aware of the players who were stood for big fees and did not live up to them. They are not going allow Liverpool to extort like they did in the past. That was shown by FSG comically overpricing Phillips, Origi and Kelleher and no one willing to pay.

I don't think we are moving any of these Dutchmen on. I think our business will be bringing in 2 players and a modest clear-out of older players. I think Saudi will come in for Salah in August and he will go if he hasnt signed an extension.

Sell Van de bergh. We need to rebuild the defence. Konate misses too many games, Virg is 32/33, and Matip is gone. We conceded too many goals. Quansah looks great but we need to get the defence sorted with some experienced players.

We still need a midfield destroyer David. A player that enjoys winning the ball back and quickly moves it on to the attacking players. We have many players that play the #8, but Endo for me still hasn’t replaced Fabinho. The dirty work Henderson used to do. The control Gini used to give us. We can’t stop teams from scoring against us because we’ve lost our industrial players. Our spine is weak. It’s just Virgil now. We’ve even lost the front press we got from Firmino and Mane.

it will be a god damn disgrace if Liverpool do not buy a specialist DM in their prime this window. Look at both the teams that finished above us. City and Arsenal both have specialist DM's in their prime Rodri and Rice. Liverpool still have not replaced Fabinho ...Endo is 30 plus and too old . Liverpool need someone like Manuel Ugarte, Douglas Luiz, Joshua Kimmich, or Yves Bissouma. LFC need to get this sorted this summer.

While I absolutely agree with you that we need proper class DM this transfer window, the names you mentioned would not really be in my list. I think Luiz will be too expensive, Kimmich is amazing, but wants a massive wage and is not really athe typical DM that we need hence why Bayern wanted to buy Palhinha, and Bissouma is just not good enough, for Ugarte is really hard to tell if he can step up quickly at the PL since he wasn't that great in Ligue 1. I would rather we look at Ederson (Atalanta) or Varela (Porto), or even João Gomes (Wolves).

One of the big issues Liverpool have had in recent years is that they haven’t felt some of the options people tout are anywhere near good enough. Florentino Luis and Ibrahim Sangare got a lot of hype last year for example but neither lived up to it.
