  This was beyond beautiful. The process was fascinating, and your skill is amazing. She is such a lovely doll, and so deserving of her Scottish "makeover". She is a bonny Highland lassie now.😊 . The goffering iron you used to pleat the silk is a small version of the one my mother operated when she worked as a launderess. It was used to place the pleats and frills on the linen nurses caps from the local hospital, whose uniforms my mother had the care of. I wish she could see your lovely videos... she would be enchanted 😊❤❤ Thank you so much.

  A kind and respectful restoration. Your range of skills is fantastic - sanding, sewing, chemistry, colour matching, video editing... - and your use of what I assume are the authentic materials/techniques of her era is really interesting to watch. And all your tools and little containers are beautiful. The internet is at its best when it allows specialists like you to make a living and audiences like us to enjoy craftsmanship we'd never otherwise see.
