Her arm moving really caught me off guard lol I thought I was imagining it for a second there!

I think even if these dolls are cursed or haunted they would never haunt you since you do such an amazing job of taking care of them. Everything is so well done and it's so relaxing to watch!

Brava...this deserves a standing ovation! Every part - from the owl delivery 😉 to the final reveal - is simply magical. And not only a treat for the eyes, but for the ears as well... such soft gentle rustlings. She is a splendid little witch, and so beautifully dressed! 🥰

... when you took the doll out... and removed that first piece from her... I gasped! A wax doll! The camera can't do justice to the translucency of the wax... how it really looks like skin! They are so rare now. I have only seen them in museums. Thank you for letting us into your workshop to watch the magic, as you bring this lovely girl back to her glory. Well done!

When I was small (as opposed to now when I think I'm big) my mother read me a story about a little girl who received a dolly as a gift. The doll was made of wax. The little girl would not let her younger sister hold the dolly, even for a little bit. The little sister persisted and the older sister, in a fit of temper, thrust the dolly into a cupboard. It was too warm in the cupboard and the dolly melted. So nobody benefitted from the older sister's selfishness and the doll was ruined. I always wondered about a doll made of wax. Watching your lovely video I now understand how they were crafted. Thank you for helping me to understand the story even better, about a doll made of wax. About 65 years later.

This was beyond beautiful. The process was fascinating, and your skill is amazing. She is such a lovely doll, and so deserving of her Scottish "makeover". She is a bonny Highland lassie now.😊 . The goffering iron you used to pleat the silk is a small version of the one my mother operated when she worked as a launderess. It was used to place the pleats and frills on the linen nurses caps from the local hospital, whose uniforms my mother had the care of. I wish she could see your lovely videos... she would be enchanted 😊❤❤ Thank you so much.

Same! All of my doll channels seem to embrace the creepy, rather than sweetness of doll craft. It's disappointing, but we know where the world is heading... 😔
