That is a deal breaker that the battery has a chip on it making it difficult to swap out the batteries, unless they charge a more reasonable price for battery

I was reading the documentation. What was the adpater you were talking about? "you will need an adapter. Without the adapter, program will still run, but will not be able to diagnose the battery."

Great video dude! Just quick questions: how do you connect the battery on computer to configure it all and when I can buy the battery body, cell and other to do a mini 2 battery with Air 2's cells? Also please could you confirm if the values of the battery are the same as original one and the difference is only in respect to the weight? Thanks!

You need to do it fast in order to not damage the pcb or the battery. 300ºC is a must.

i found a cell 2000mah about the same size and weight expecting atleast 40 to 50 minutes for any of you interested its samsung ICP103450S sizes are height 1.1cm length 4.8cm width 3.3cm combined 4000mah weight of both batteries combined around 85grams i will update soon after the upgrade

you would have to make 2s2p, that will weight around 180g, and the flight time will be poor. 18650 arent good for drones, use lihv at best

Will this work if the charge is too low? I used DJI battery killer dll and it won't unseal and I also can't see any "info" it is connected correctly and the program does recognize it.

Yes, it’ll work even with cells close to 0. Dji battery killer is a cheap joke, stolen code, the programmer literally copied code from internet, pasted and compiled it. I strongly do not recommend CP2112 as it doesn’t support SMBus.

@@thelongranger7574 they want me to buy a license for about $200 but DJI will sell me a battery for $80. I bought 3 new batteries but was hoping to wake the old ones up without opening it up and jumping wires from one cell to the other for a charge.

The license costs €40 not anywhere around $200, this is missleading. And yes, you can charge your spark without opening it. Just hit the support and they’ll provide you with how to do it.

Amazing, I have flown 4.7km and back with my drone, landed with 20% remaining battery. . I also have the Alientech signal booster fitted to my controller, I still had 4 bars of signal at 4.7km. Expensive but worth it

Boy u wrong. 2000mAh in series connection will stay 2000mAh
