Great video dude! Just quick questions: how do you connect the battery on computer to configure it all and when I can buy the battery body, cell and other to do a mini 2 battery with Air 2's cells? Also please could you confirm if the values of the battery are the same as original one and the difference is only in respect to the weight? Thanks!

Very cool! First of all, I would like to congratulate you on being able to do this! My respects. I've been watching your flights for a long time, and I knew you hacked those batteries. I guessed it. But there was no detailed information anywhere. So I bought an Aeropic B0B. But it does not show the voltage of each sell, and also works only with the old firmware on the Mavic Mini-1. And it doesn't work on the Mavic Mini-2. So in theory, your option is better. But there is no price anywhere on the site. I hope it won't be too big. And of course we are waiting for your new long-range flights! After all, you are a Longranger! :)

Hello, thank you for your kind comment! :) Yes, my program can repair the battery and won't break functionality, and will work perfectly on bat type 1. Yes, you can even solder balance cable and fly. I was reading the documentation. What was the adpater you were talking about? "you will need an adapter. Without the adapter, program will still run, but will not be able to diagnose the battery."

Hello! Is it true that mini 2 battery BMS board locks when you cut off factory cells? Is it just because of the factor of power cut? If so, is it possible to replace factory cells to 3500mAh cells without TRB - by supplying temporary power lines from other cells before cutting factory cells?

It's hard and you will probably end up glitching the BMS and it will not work. Use TRB and you're safe.

need to get ev2300 to plug the batt to pc and the boards come from existing mini 2 batteries.....you take them apart and use the board.......I cant find the batteries neither some guy said zdf on aliexpress but cant find the exact model im not good with batteries but zero problem learning ......😂😂😂😂😂

That is a deal breaker that the battery has a chip on it making it difficult to swap out the batteries, unless they charge a more reasonable price for battery

You need to do it fast in order to not damage the pcb or the battery. 300ºC is a must.

Mavic Air (1) battery cannot be reached by the CP2112.

CP2112 only supports I2C, and for it to work properly it would have to support SMBus. Use EV2400.

i found a cell 2000mah about the same size and weight expecting atleast 40 to 50 minutes for any of you interested its samsung ICP103450S sizes are height 1.1cm length 4.8cm width 3.3cm combined 4000mah weight of both batteries combined around 85grams i will update soon after the upgrade

you would have to make 2s2p, that will weight around 180g, and the flight time will be poor. 18650 arent good for drones, use lihv at best

...contacted this guy...no reply. So I guess it's a no go on the mod unless I do it myself...which I can,but it's costly...2 cells come from an Air2...that battery is over 100 bucks...and a Mini 2/SE battery is 50 bucks....🤷🏻‍♂️
