Can completing the CN examination so quickly and omitting several important steps inadvertently lead to overlooking other important factors, potentially resulting in missed diagnoses?

always listen FIRST - if there is a bruit - DO NOT PALPATE ! You can dislodge a plaque that can R/I a stroke ! auscultate and THEN palpate for a thrill if no bruit is heard AS, PMHNP.

Always start with the stethoscope first, you don’t want to dislodge an emboli to the brain and cause a stroke. If you hear bruits, do not palpate with your hands
