This is a stellar recording with these fellas in top form. My goodness. Having listened to their work for the past 27 yrs, this was a treat to discover.

The vibe and energy is so sizzling hot and greasy, and there is a happy joyful playfulness between Jimmy and Stevie.

One thing that made Lowell's slide so unusual, whereas most slide player go up the scale, Lowell went down, The people who inhabited his songs were those who never could get their life quite together. He sounds like he knows them.

I love this band - they did not follow the standard under 3-min verse-chourus-verse pop standard. They is classical New Orleans groove. Wating For Columbus is a must have album on anyone's list.

Anyone know who the long haired guitarist is on Apolitical Blues? Looks (and sounds) an awful lot like Mick Taylor, could it be?🤔

Was up at the top in the restaurant called windows of the world beautiful place way back in 98 before they came down if you’ve never saw these towers, I can’t describe in words how amazing they were to see in person let alone stand on top of them

Not so weird. There wasn't a mainstream market for this sound that wasn't already filled by a few token black musicians or why guys. And it was right before the major change and dominance of corporate music take over

I remember when they came to London on this tour and how they blew everyone away with their incredible live shows. They'd had a coupla modest hits in the UK, and this tour launched them and their album sales. They were the real deal, Lowell was one in a million, such a gifted man, the rest of the boys weren't too shabby either! Funky as all gets out...❤❤❤
