  My beloved mother passed away from lung cancer at age 57 in July 1996. This was her absolute most favorite song. She'd listen to it repeatedly. You were my entire world and you still are Mom. I love you.

  My father used to play this for me when I was growing up. Never knew him till the age of 14, from there we were truly inseparable. He's recently passed away, I'm awake at 3am due to tears in my sleep, he was playing this song.😔 I never really understood the song till now. I am water born in the heart of winter.

  This song reminds me of the day i lost my grandpa. I loved him so much. I still miss him like crazy after 15 years of being gone. I wish i couldve had him for a few more years. His birthday and the day he died is the worst for me.

  3 years after my mother died… I realized how much I missed her all my life since she went away when I was 16 years old and now I realize how much it must have hurt her that I chose to stay with my dad over 35 years ago. Never had the courage to talk about it …

  I saw this when I was in hs in Atlanta. I cried so much that when I got home, my Dad was furious with me. He thought I had been doing drugs. I was not allowed out again for a month. Walk in my shoes....
