  Can't compare an 8 pax chopper whith an 4 pax (Ec120), neither compare a single engine with a twin engine (H135) Please, compare with an H130 or B-407 or A-119 Koala.

  Ja, das waren noch Zeiten. Ich kann mich daran erinnern das Hangelar am Wochenende für die Flächenflieger sogar gesperrt war um die Menge an Hubschraubern abfertigen zu können.

  @followme-helitechnicaldataint ..I worked for Sikorsky, West Palm Beach from.1986 to 2000 on the 76 line..we had a number of high visibility clients.the Sultan of Brunei and DJT being two .both bought 76es..the Sultan bought two...

  Enstrom helicopters are far to underpowered, and rotor rpm is too low. Not enough power and not enough rpm in rotor for a good autorotation. Not sure why someone would fly and aircraft with such a terrible engine either.

  Der nette Mensch am Steuer dieser Kaffeemühle sollte sich mal an die vorgeschriebene Mindestflughöhe über bewohnten Gebieten halten. 600ft sind deutlich zu wenig. Es ist nämlich gar kein Vergnügen, dieses lärmende Gerät über seinem Kopf zu haben.

  Hallo Paul, es sind ja meistens verschiedene Piloten unterwegs. Wenn die Gasleitung kontrollieren machen die das auch in 600ft AGL. Mann sollte immer mal bedenken warum die bei sowas so tief fliegen. Die machen das u.a. auch zur Sicherheit der dortigen Anwohner.

  This aircraft has Honeywell Lycoming LT 101 powerplants. LT is for Lycoming Turbomecca.. a reengineering of the Daimler Turbomecca which Lycoming got down to 750 lbs ea. from the Daimler 850 lbs. The 750 lb. LT 101 [Arriel] maintains the Turbomecca 800 Turboshaft Horsepower. The Honeywell Lycoming LT101 Arriel 2C aren't certified for Civil Aviation in the United States. I tried to by one from Eurocopter USA ( Harrisburg PA) They laughed at me when I asked for the Honeywell Lycomings. I wound up with Turbomecca S + free pilot certification (x2) at Flight Safety (Fla). Embry Riddle Doesn't maintain any rotorcraft programs
