You’re going to come back with a lot of puzzles driving there 😆
Thank you for the video! I need to preserve and display a scratch off puzzle which will continue to be scratched off while mounted: it is a puzzle of the world and as you travel and visit countries, you scratch off the location you visited. It took a long time to put together, so I want to mount it but it must be scratchable (😅) Obviously, I wouldn't put anything on the front but what would be the sturdiest but cost effective way of preserving and presenting it, without warping? Any ideas?
I have a Samurai SUDOKU jigsaw puzzle that I've already solved. It's another version to the crossword you have. A challenger puzzle, is what they were called on Amazon, a jigsaw puzzle of another kind of puzzle. I love SUDOKU, and Samurai are my favorite type to do.💜👍
I did a Crossword Puzzle Jigsaw, and it was harder than it seemed like it should. I don't remember the piece count, but I think it was 1000.
Oh, that puzzle was way too busy! Good for you for your 7th place. Loved the puzzle haul -- especially that 300-piece Ravensburger. I agree the 300-piece puzzles are the best way to relax and still enjoy puzzling.
Just to confirm, even for England, it has been colder (and wetter) than usual here this year! Glad you enjoyed your trip in spite of the weather.
I'm so happy to hear that! I thought I was weird for finding it that cold 😂😅 And yes of course I enjoyed it! It's difficult not to enjoy being there! Especially after living there for 7 years 😍
The 300 piece Ravensburger macaron puzzle is not easy AT ALL! Pro tip: The pink one in the foreground is not resting on a spoon... it's more like a fork with three prongs... I spent A LOT of time trying to get the "spoon" together... 😀
Hahahah thanks for the warning!!! 😅 It happened to me before, when I was doing a puzzle without the picture where I was accidentally puzzling upside down and didn't clock that. Took me forever to figure it out, after countless attempts of finding the right pieces 😬
Purrfect piece is a lot of fun! There’s a similar puzzle by same artist by Buffalo Games 2000 piece called Happy Vibes that I love!
OMG! This puzzle is absolutely stunning!! 😍 I need to see if I can get a version of it in Slovenia 😁
Love the colors of that Morocco Hotel puzzle! The competition puzzle seemed pretty complicated. I'm not the biggest fan of busy images either.
Morocco Hotel puzzle is absolutely stunning! 🤩 And yes, the competition puzzle was quite difficult for my opinion, but some people enjoy busy puzzles 😅 It was funny when a friend at the competition said: I love how detailed the puzzle is - just goes to show the difference, because I just saw how busy it was 😂🙈
Glad you had a good time, even if you found it a bit cold. With the competition I got the impression, from what you were saying, that the organisers weren't very well organised with getting finishing times? I can appreciate you finding the jigsaw difficult. It's one I did recently and I found it tricky to do. Of the puzzles you listed I have done 2, 4, 5 & 8. Cream Teas and Queueing is very British! I don't know why you mentioned your eye. Whatever was wrong with it was not obvious at all. Look forward to your next video.
I had a great time! It's still England at the end of the day 🤩 Yes, the competition wasn't very well organised, or maybe it's better to say that it felt more like a friendly puzzle along as opposed to an actual competition 😅 And yes, I definitely found this puzzle difficult, so well done for doing it by yourself! 👏🏻 You've done many puzzles from my list! I hope you enjoyed them 🤗 And the reason why I mentioned my eye is because it was so red. I think the colour grading made it less obvious, but I got really ill and had an eye infection to go with it. My vision is still blurry when my eye gets tired, but it's getting better every day! 😁👌🏻 Thank you! 🥰
I have a feeling you will be strapping me to the roof of the car if necessary to make more room for puzzles! 🤣
Hahaha I love how positive you are about that. I was thinking more on the lines of just leaving you in Spain 🤣🤣
@@janetteandherpuzzles Proof just how mean JigJig is to me!!! 😭😭
You guys are hilarious 😂 talking to each other!!!
@@bettyc.6280 And you can see just how mean she is to me! And all I do is love her! Hehehehe 😁😁
@@fortheloveofpuzzles Mean?!🤪🙃
Nice to see you Janette, I think the key to your puzzling success with the geometric tiger image is due to your years of not looking at the image when you puzzle. You are following the shapes. And I find it interesting because the time you spent staring at a picture is time you can use to place a piece. I own the Aimee Stewart “Purrfect peace” puzzle and the 550 piece Crossword puzzle too. If you watch Ric’s Nifty puzzles, from New Zealand, he did it on his channel. It is fun to put together, many of his followers helped him with some of the answers😊
I really like Rics channel, he takes so much time for every puzzle piece and focusses on every small detail, plus he always gives lots of background information about the puzzle, its a very informative and enjoyable channel! I participated in both the botyp and Rics 'am i the slowest puzzler on earth' contest haha, his channel has a very different, slower, approach to puzzling.🙂
Yes, you're right! I didn't think of that, but looking at the picture takes the time away from puzzling, especially when it's difficult to find the piece you're looking for 😅 Thanks for the info on Ric's channel - I have seen some of his videos, but have missed the one with the crossword puzzle. I'm intrigued to go check it, but I don't wanna spoil it for myself in case it's the exact same one. I love the idea of subscribers helping with the crossword 🤩 And yes Nina, I agree that it's a channel with completely different approach to puzzling and that's the beauty of it - we all love puzzles in a different way 😍
First, can I just say you look stunning in red, such a beautiful woman. But this is about puzzles, so back to that. I enjoy watching your videos and hearing your opinions on how they are constructed, or cut, or the ease/difficulty of the image. Keep up the great job of sharing your love of puzzling.
Thank you so much for the lovely comment! 🥰 I'm glad to hear you're enjoying my channel content 😁
Legos give you instant gratification, whereas jigsaw puzzles take a longer time!!
I never thought of that! That is so true! 😁👌🏻
Hi Janette, I am glad to see that you feel better! The shape of the indentation of the «beast» (hahaha) is quite particular, I assume it is a new cut. Pieces & Peace puzzles are just fabulous!
Thank you Andrea! 🤗 You think Ravensburger has a new cut? I heard that they change it every so often 🤔 I agree about Pieces & Peace - I absolutely love this puzzle! 😍
I love that you said you'll have unlimited space to bring back puzzles from Spain. How big is your car? 😛😂🧩💜
Hahahaha yeah well it's not completely unlimited, I'd still have to fit Donnalouise in the car 🤣🤣 I'm borrowing my dad's car and he has a station wagon 😁🙌🏻
I hope we get a road trip video! 😂
I've done these wasjig puzzles for about 20 years. They're really difficult and I love them. Right now I'm doing the outside edge of Date Night. Wish me luck.
I love Wasjigs too!! Have so many of them and can't wait to finally do them 🤩 I do think that the difficulty varies, but overall it's like doing a puzzle without the picture 😁 You made me wanna tackle one of mine now! 😅 Good luck with Date Night! I was just checking it out to see everything that can go wrong with it - that lobster is definitely gonna end up on someone 🤣🤣
Loved this - and the friendship you two have developed. I look forward to more. And thanks for the laughs!🤣
I'm glad you enjoyed it - because there will be more of it soon! 😂 Less than two months until we meet again 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Maybe next time you do an Instagram poll you can ask the question "How unique am I?" instead of "Am I a weirdo?" I do not think you're any kind of weirdo nor do I think anyone needs to call themselves that. Let's love ourselves more. 🙏
Thank you for saying that 😊 When I say weirdo, I mean it in a cutest possible way, with no ill intentions, but I can see how that can come across wrong 🙈
You have the patience of a saint. I could never do this. Life is to short for boring puzzles.
Hahahaha I couldn't let the puzzle defeat me 😂😜 No but in all honesty - I only kept going because I knew it's possible to finish it. If the cut was bad or if I was having misfits, I would have easily given up on it 😅🤷🏻♀️
Amazing 💛 that was kind of encouraging, I'm starting the 3.000 pieces toy store from grow. "Loja de Brinquedos Grow 3.000" if someone wants to google it. Although it looks easier than Tigers in Paradise because of the amount of specific details it also could be overwhelming for the exact same reason, I'm not sure yet hahaha. Sending love from Brazil 🇧🇷
So fun! Congrats on your success 🎉 how would you rate the difficulty level on a scale of 1 to 10? 10 being the hardest.
Thank you so much! 🤗 Uh that's a tough question 🤔 I didn't do any other 3k puzzle, so for me, doing this puzzle as my first 3k puzzle after only doing 500 and 1000 piece puzzles, I'd say it was a 6 - it wasn't difficult, but it just took longer. The searching process is a lot longer with larger puzzles and there was a lot of sorting, but I managed to solve the entire puzzle without any additional help, which I count as not that difficult 😊
@@janetteandherpuzzles Thank you so much for the information! Love your channel and hope it continues to grow!
I have 4 😂
I started with 1 in 2018 😊 Where there's a will, there's a way 😂🤪
It is the most ugly puzzle I ever seen how did you manage to complete it
Hahahahah with a lot of will power 🤣 If the quality wasn't as good as it was, I would have given up on it 😅
I've been going back and watching #BOTYP's that I had missed. You say in the description, "Results will be posted in early March 2024." I don't see any Thumbnails saying results. Where can I find the results? Did you make a video reviewing each others times? ENjoyed all participants video's.
We post the results as community posts and on IG - I have them on my IG profile under highlights, but you can also see them here: BOTYP I: kzread.info/dron/XPK9GOVbIU4LXaLUV8QxdA.htmlcommunity?lb=Ugkx6iJsaEA0GFVu84MKEW1eP0uIltCrXzeK BOTYP II: kzread.info/dron/XPK9GOVbIU4LXaLUV8QxdA.htmlcommunity?lb=Ugkx_LjIXaxs1HpxzqfqA5szyMfc3lK3BJ-F BOTYP III: kzread.infoB7jHrXkpVUA

I would love to know more about your Puzly Puzli puzzle! I am in USA, and I cannot find anything about it via my internet search!
Puzly Puzli is a fairly new Slovenian brand and they make handmade puzzles, that support local artist by turning their art into puzzles. You can check their website here, but it's all in Slovenian: puzly-puzli.store/ Hope this helps! 😁🤞🏻
I enjoyed the video so much that I "liked" it, subscribed to your channel, and turned on notifications.
Awww thank you so much!! 🤗 I really appreciate your lovely comment! 😊
Great time, Janette! I am wondering who is missing a piece of this puzzle...
Thank you! 😁 And yes!! I was wondering that too! 😅
