Gorgeous! This set is so versatile, useful for so many occasions. Would love it if Honey Bee would make their sentiments a bit larger so they work on 5x7 cards as well. Sometimes they are a bit small.

My father in law bought a combi in the 70s and kept it running until relatively recently. Hubby makes jokes about it being a paperweight now. I NEED THAT DIE SET, lol. I have the ECD one that I think was intended as a shaped minijournal but also makes a great card shape but that one actually fits on a card! Now we just need a matching side view too, lol!

Nope, I’ve missed the videos with chocolate gravy…I love these cards, and I started mom’s card 2 days ago…lots of fuchsias, which are from Pinkfresh… I’m a last minute crafter, unless I go on a die cutting rampage! I keep wanting to bring some card stuff to work, or my current Tunisian crochet project, but I’m too busy lately!

I love the daisy stamp!! I’d love to see you paint it white but you DO color….lol. Maybe Dawn can help me…. Thank you for the advice because it does seem overwhelming to do no-line once I have it stamped. I have the picture in my head and really feel like it’s going to be easy and then I just stop after I get it stamped…. I’m older and have done so many different crafts (painting wood, sweatshirts and even cut wood) of ALL kinds…I learned to oil paint .. I was sewing my own clothes in Junior High, did crochet and cross stitch…. I enjoy it all. But, everything I have tried really came fairly easily!! Now, after I retired from teaching math 40 years I found card making… I bought supplies for 2 years as we waited to move…. I have some things set up now (everything need or would want) and I find it VERY, VERY challenging to make cards!?! I honestly didn’t think I would have any problems as I watched videos. I’d get some ideas…. YET…..It’s all overwhelming and the most challenging thing I’ve ever tried… and I’m not sure why.. I still love everything about it but it sometimes takes me several days to think of something and then make a card that I like… So many times I just go to my art room and just “piddle” or get some things organized, etc. I enjoy it… But……I’d like to know if anyone as some suggestions or ideas??? I’d greatly appreciate input from ANYONE!!

I’m 72, have done art all my life but just discovered card making 3 yrs ago. I love it! There are so many wonderful artists sharing their techniques & ideas. I love making cards with the die cut pieces, reminds me so much of playing with paperdolls when we were kids. I piddle with my pieces then finally get them glued down. One thing that helped me is to watch a video & get only the specific pieces to make the card. I have a tendency to have too many pieces to choose from & with my ADHD it’s almost impossible to finish the card. Just keep on trying! Good luck!

Kelly thank you for such a complete and comprehensive tutorial. I just purchased this die set (I love Honey Bee dies). Your shadowing is inspiring. I must try it. Paper Piecing has been something I have done for 20 years. It is such fun. These cards are so so beautiful. Thank you for your time and knowledge. I love your dog story. We had the same weather in Pa and my 12-year-old dog did not go out for 3 days. She is a tiny thing. Such a warm and fun video. Thank you again. ❤💛💚
