Dawn, I could watch you paint all day. Thank you for making such instructive videos, it’s very inspiring! In answer to your question about video length, it doesn’t matter to me if the video is longer, I just love to watch you paint!

Dawn, i could watch you create regardless of what medium you are using. I love my copics and try my hand at water coloring. The length of the video doesn’t matter. I think one can learn shadowing, lights, darks and blending regardless of its watercolor or alcohol inks. Thank for time and sharing your talent!!!

Dawn, I knew these were painted by you before I even saw the caption title. Your system of painting, and style of painting just sings to my heart and I am determined to learn how to do it too. Thank you for every word and visual of instruction! 😍❤🤗 I never mind how long your videos take and I was one of those who watched the octopus video from start to finish. 🙋‍♀😊

I watched the octopus video all the way through. Loved it! I can't color to save my life. 😏 I can say... watching yours & Kelly's coloring type of videos piques my interest. No matter how long it is. I'm always wishful. 😊 Beautiful water coloring, just beautiful! Dawn... I save these videos & try to listen & p/up tips that you offer. Thank you for such inspirational videos! ❤

I watch all of your videos. I don't care how long they are. The longer the better, in my opinion! I wonder if it's youtube algorithms because I am subscribed to get notifications on all of your videos, and I have not seen KZread suggest the octopus video. I'm going to have to go check that out! I love everything you do! 3rd card is my favorite! And then the 2nd. I attempt to watercolor, but I always give up midway through. I've tried using your suggestions and techniques, but it just ends up a hot mess. You make it look so easy!

Oh my gosh Dawn! Your cards are beautiful and the third, no-line colored image, is incredible! As for video length, I don’t mind the longer ones if I have time. I’m just more inclined to make the time for a longer WATERCOLOR video. I did watch the octopus video which was fantastic. My guess is that more people would watch the same length video, with the same images, if it were watercolor.

I took your watercolor class a few years ago, and I credit that as the first time I understood the basics of watercoloring, so, thank you. You mentioned several techniques such as underpainting and bringing petals forward. Have you ever thought about teaching a second follow up class with “second steps” in the process? I think I understand the first layer, but I’m not sure how to do the subsequent layers. I find the first method the easiest because of the “bumpers,”. But the third method is so much richer. I am someone who prefers videos 30 minutes or less, unless it’s a class session. I appreciate your teaching style. Thank you.

The length of your videos does not determine whether I watch; I will watch ALL of them. The image or method of coloring doesn't matter; I learn something from all of them. I too learned how to watercolor using a heat-embossed image; I learned it from you and that changed my world. Kelly is doing a fabulous job illustrating stamps, and you are fantastic at making me want all of them. If I have to choose, the 2nd card is my fave.

I wish I could watch all of your videos but unfortunately time is finite. I am a full time caregiver for my mom while being a wife and mom so you are my release. 20-30 minutes max is all I have. That said, watercolor videos I will chunk if I start it and really want to learn. I am not a comic lover so those are never as important to me. You are amazing no matter the medium. Watercolor is where I want to do my crafting and this is just an epic tutorial!

Great video❤ I love using my distress inks for a bunch of techniques. FYI: the reason I didn’t watch your last video was because of the subject matter (octopus), not the length of video. Enjoy copic coloring videos for the most part.
