Pretty fly for a white guy 😆!
What about using chicken AND pork and adding a spicy minced red pepper?
I happen to LOVE egg in my fried rice so I would probably use 3 instead of 2.
It's a good thing you added MSG, otherwise 10,000 Chinese would scream for justice and call you fake.
thanks great video i gotta try this this weekend,
as a Thai , you did a fantastic information , good pad thai 👍🏻
kop kun ka!
@@farmageddon 😚 if you miss thai food ,welcome here now our government just changed VISA rules you can stay in Thailand for 60 day (tourist visa) start in 1st June
No one: Jason: films fridge pov
I made this and it’s delicious
Has anyone ever asked you if you're related to Steve Burns?
No. But I know he was in a Morrissey cover band in the 1990s. So, we’re probably related.
What about low sodium? Which one is best? I can’t have regular soy sauce with high sodium.
Thanks.
Also please?
Use whatever soy sauce you like best!
do white castle
10:17 😂😂
I’m really glad I came across all your videos , I’ve been wanting to know how to make all these Chinese dishes the right way thank you so much 👍👍👍😉 you are unbelievable smart thank you , 🙏 I’d love to know how to make them one noodles you find at a Chinese buffet the noodles that are like almost white clear noodles they have shrimp and veggies in them , wonder how they make that dish cuz I mess it up everytime I must be buying the wrong noodles or something
👏👏👏
Now this is going to be a lot of work doing all of this (thank you for doing all of this!) but the challenge is accepted, I am going to do this. I love the old Chipotle and rarely go there any more because it just is not as good as it used to be. And the fact that I can prep and store a lot of this is fantastic. I am going to do some research and see if I can actually can some of the sauces for shelf storage. This is going to be fun.

Any tips on switching the chicken out for shrimp?
I appreciate the fact that you took the time to actually research what goes into the chic-fil-a sandwich and how it's made versus making a regular chicken sandwhich and pretending it's the same thing.
👏👏👏
How can I preserve these? Freezer? Canning?
You're going to end an empire
Think you could do Chipotle's Barbacoa recipe?
Eggs don’t fry like that anymore. Wondering if the eggs I buy are made in a lab.
I know it sounds silly, but I was never able to recreate their guac. I think it was actually the chips! I think I needed to add the citrus juice to the chips, just enough to give it a tangy flavor. Thank you! I will be making this for sure
Very good. I’ve never had the original, but I’ve had the one from the store. It’s good, but this one is better. I also make a basic one with out the butter. I add some sriracha to mine as well.
You continue to make impressive and informative videos better than many celebrity chefs! Thank you.
Thank you so much, Stephen! This is incredibly kind of you! If there are any recipes you’d like to see, please let me know. I promise I’ll put them on my list! Thanks again for your generosity! I sincerely appreciate you!
Remember the KFC Double Down? I wanna get that flavor for the sauce they put in it. This recipe will work for the two breasts.
Your channel is freaking awesome.
15:36 yep yep 🥸 Like you said, this is exactly the same as best traditional Pad Thai you'll find in Thailand. You really nail down every details 10/10.
mmm packing material
I was really hoping you'd tackle the Beef Barbacoa. I've tried for years to find a good copycat recipe with only getting around 75% there. Definitely going to try the roasted corn and guac!
Is this a typo, or what is corn pepper?
From the comment from the guy who cooks at a Benihana in Saudi Arabia.
ALL THE INGREDIENTS AND THEYRE IN GRAMS?!?! i must be dreaming.
Outstanding, I can’t wait to try it!
Now I have a question, what should I do, If I live outside US, and don't have any dried chillies, but want to make original adobo :)
MSG
Barbacoa next please
Being a manager and working prep and grill at chipotle I took most of the recipes to heart and can just do it by feeling now. Making it home made is just so much nicer and ALOT more healthier too
I can't have MSG so will leaving it out make it not as good?
I did a short stint at Chipotle many years ago. For the corn salsa, I can't recall if there were already poblanos with the corn or if there were no poblanos. I do remember we would use diced red onions and jalapenos. While we did have the citrus juice, I remember we used fresh squeezed limes. We also used squeezed limes for the guacamole and chips. Your manager impression needs asking the employees to recite cult-like mantras randomly at the drop of a hat. One of the things that really put me off working there. Memorizing and being able to recite the mantras was a requirement for continued employment.
Damn. I really want to make this dish but it use Oyster sauce. Im allergic to shell fish (mostly crab, lobster) and shrimp. Does anybody know of a substitute for oyster sauce?
You need vegetarian or mushroom-based oyster sauce. Both have no shellfish.
@@farmageddon thank you!
You are the hero we needed in these challenging times.
Interesting technique. I wish less total oil was used but I realize that in recreating original/great recipes it's necessary. Good job.
I can see why this video has had so many views! Good for you!
You do a great job of recreating restaurant dishes. You have a way of getting former/current employees to tell you the ingredients including brand names.
Can you simply substitute chicken with this recipe? Same process, same other ingredients?
Now. THAT was a breakdown. The science and art of cooking is revealed like no other on this channel.
What the hell is “rocket surgery”?
Rocket surgery is when you do surgery on a rocket.
Would pre-bottled lemon and lime juice be okay? What would be the ratio?
For sure! I would do 60% lemon 40% lime. I haven't verified this. But off the top of my head it seems right.
