I found it very difficult doing memorial paintings. I have completed 3, a much loved dad, a loved cat and horse. The one I’m trying to finish now is of my very much loved best friend. Finding this really hard. I am very good at procrastination - I think I might never finish it…🇬🇧

If you have a square piece use a stop block so your pieces are exactly the same length. This works with the two sides as well.

I think I have a supplies list in the description of the video with links… maybe it’s just on the blog post; I can’t quite remember. 😅 But, I get it from Home Depot. They have the nicer hemlock variety if your staining them, or you can also get the finger jointed and pre-primed variety if your plan is to be painting them rather than staining. That will save you a couple dollars per foot; the price of the nicer hemlock has gone up since making this video (before covid).

Great video!! New viewer, here. THANK YOU for saying “height” and NOT “heigth.” 2:51 😂 How people think “ght” makes the “th” sound puzzles me. Small pet-peeve of mine. 😂

An easy to follow and simple tutorial, thank you for sharing. I would add one small suggestion to countersink the frame screw holes so the screw heads don’t protrude from the back.

An excellent tutorial guiding us through step-by-step. You deliver it in a simple and clear manner. Many details, but doable due to tools we have at home (except for the saw, but the wood can be cut elsewhere). I wish the measures were in metric system as it will be more difficult to find the right equivalence from imperial measurements. Thank you! Looking forward to watching more of your surely very instructive videos!

Friendly Tip From one crafter to another.... if you have a heat gun, you can use it (From a distance not to melt styrofoam or craft project) to get rid of all the glue stringy things. Also, when adding another glue stick to glue gun, dab a tiny amount of hot glue to end of new stick, push into gluegun to add to the glue stick inside the gluegun, this helps to stop glue sticks from falling out. Cheers

I read many comments but nobody asked the most important question: Where do you get your 1 x 2 corner moulding stock? I can't find it at any of the big box home improvement stores.
