Thank you and Merry Christmas! 🎄
You make those leaves so beautifully! How did you get the coloration for the paler leaves?

Thank you!!! It's just watercolour paint. I mostly use a lighter green, a darker green, and yellow ochre to mix any of my leaf colours... sometimes add red to knock back the saturation of the green, and water of course.
I really love your work!

I love the layers you made on the cards. You are very good at showing us how to watercolor these images, and I actually think I can do them also, now. . Thanks. Will you tell me what water rush you are using, when convenient? Love the tip.

I use the Derwent water brushes. I got them on amazon but many art stores will carry them also. Thank you very much, I'm glad you like the cards!

I believe I’m using 2 different sizes in this video, but it’s a Royal Soft Grip brush. I think #10 and #8.
What brand water paint pen is the fine tip one you used? Very nice cards.
Wonderful
These are great. Looking forward to the 2019 batch!

I am so happy to hear that, although I'm not sure I'll have time for a card video this year... maybe... we'll see! Thank you so much, again! ❤️
All lovely! Is there a way to slow down the video and list colors used for each card pls? I loved what you created, and naturally want to paint my own, but it goes too fast. I always appreciate learning what papers are used and where to purchase them, so thanks for ALL of this!

You actually have the ability to slow the video down when you're watching it. Look for the gear when you hover your mouse over the video; the speed setting is in that menu. As for the colours, I don't use anything specific, I just mix a colour until I'm happy with it. No particular formula. I'm glad you like the cards! Thank you!

@@TheCreativeGlow Thank you so very much! I will do exactly this. I'm very grateful that artists like you share your talent, craft, and beauty. You're very talented--such a gift. :)
What is the pen like thing you use? I am a beginner.

Fineliners if you are still looking. Pigma micron and Faber Castell are good. Make sure you get waterproof if you want to watercolour over your lines.

what "music" said in their reply, and a water brush for painting.
Awesome
4 minutes into the video you finally start to paint. Too long to wait.

Well, I am sorry to hear you feel that way, but I also get people who thank me for talking about the papers and the materials. Perhaps you don't need to wait the 4 minutes to get through the informational part, you can fast-forward through to the painting part? Just a suggestion. 😊 Merry Christmas!
Christmas is over lmao

Pinkie Delusional and that is why they are New Year cards... the new year has just started! I’ve received New Year Cards a few times, and I think it’s a fantastic idea. Plus, the tutorial won’t expire by next Christmas; it’ll still be useful then!
