  Wrong. I come from a small town in Wisconsin, and haved worked since I was 10, starting with a paper route, all the way to cleaning bars, flipping burgers, and door to door sales.

  This does not work in corporate america. It might apply to small businesses. In corporate america, you are a gear in a machine, nothing more. I have been both the top performer and near bottom performer on my team. No change other than more work for the same pay. No raises for performing well, no promotions after years of top performance. Now I perform at the level I am paid, which is not much after inflation these days. Good performance was punished accordingly.

  Well obviously you’ve never dealt with being around a whole lot of evil people who try and sabotage everything you do. A narcissistic family narcissist parent or narcissistic work and boss you have to conceal your intentions! I worked with a lady 10 years a top sales person who occasionally had to leave work or attend condo board meeting she said. Then one day it turns out she graduated law school and is now an attorney. She hid the whole law school so she wouldn’t be fired for slacking off at the job or even fired when people catch wind. You have to conceal everything around people except light mundane things or they use it against you. I remember I quit alcohol and made the mistake to tell a parent. He kept pouring me alcohol at thanksgiving at the table and said drink it drink it are you so weak? I said no I’m not week but we count days for chips and this would ruin it. I was ridiculed and made fun of. In the program they say never tell anyone you are attending meeting because people sabotage you and I should have listened. People sabotage and make fun of everything you do so you must conceal it

  I have gone through the same thing foreal ! As a father of 4 myself !
