  Greetings Stripey, I was walking up the hill as you were coming down but was too star-struck to say anything other than utter a "hi, there"! 🤩🤩🤩 Would be curious to see a side by side comparison with your own diy DCF shelter but perhaps in slightly less intense wind!

  Hi 👋, Blue rain jacket (torrent shell?)? No my own shelter isn’t made for winds, I built it at the time for summer camps in the Alps above tree line - used it only a few times in Scotland and the built quality is just not on par with a bought one 😂 ATB Stripey

  I was in some pretty gusty wind in my Durston X-mid this weekend just gone and i was impressed, it stood up to the wind really well. Trekking pole tents are mis underestimated when it comes to wind resistance.

  I think as well - unreal conditions for my camping style. Before testing I would have thought nothing more than 30km/h (~20mph 😉😂😂) as I was only used to the Lanshan with a similar design. I mean not that I would do it but good to know that it could withstand it 👍

  Thank you very much! Aye is really nice to use it with a frying pan as well - probably would need a bigger burner for meat but the 30ml burner is enough for bread when using a thin frying pan (in this case it was the trangia one from the 27 kit). Thanks a lot Stripey

  Another good adventure and narrated. It looked winter cold instead of summer 🌞. Truly signs we are covered by darkness with hell on earth about to break loose... Stay focused on God in prayer 🙏. Iv not camped or hiked for years now, i chose to do Gods work to try prepare and save as many as possible for whats about to come upon the earth. Not one listened 😢 and failed themselves. One good thing, my choice made me sell my gear and the cash got me through tough times. Outdoor gear is worth buying as it sells good and fast... Has even afforded me to keep my car 😉

  What a great trip out. I haven't been to Arran since 1990. I fished up Glen Irosa. There were adders all over the valley bottom. Had great views from Goatfell the next day and saw a submarine heading up the sea. Great place.

  Thanks a lot! Yeah is such a beautiful place. Oh that is so cool that you have seen same adders, would love to see some as well but so far have only seen a slow worm back in Germany ;-(. Submarine is interesting as well but not as good as the adders 😎. Thanks a lot for sharing mate! Atb Stripey
