  Thank you mate, mine are 16x8 on the front and 16x8.5 on the rear. You can go 9j on the rear but Anything wider on the rear you run into issues with the side door opening properly.

  @@Tdevil86 thanks Terry. You know the part where you did the sills. You said u sanded, rust treated, primed and then stone chip sprayed. Was the stone chip just on underneath or on outside of van, did you get stone chip colour matched? Thanks

  Not just yet no, I still need to alter the front strut tops so they sit below the front wing line and clear the bonnet hinges, the bulkhead is clear though 👌🏼

  Only thing that puts my off dipping a car is not knowing what hidden bonding and seam sealers been stripped off aswel, cutting it out and finding it as I go means I can add it all back as I go…

  I wouldn’t mind getting a job in a bodyshop/panel beaters to be honest, getting a day in one each week would be ideal to help me learn more! But thank you! I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel on the fab work now, be on to the nuts and bolts side of the build soon hopefully 🤞🏻

  I hadn’t even thought about that, I think I pulled a heated screen out of it to be honest 🤔 it’ll on track or on the road in summer months so a heater isn’t really needed to be fair… Good shout! 🍻

  Download an app called Shazam, it listens to music and tells you what the track is, I use epidemic sounds for all my music as it’s all royalty free

  Cheers mate, and yeh, there’s not a great deal on KZread about mk5/6 escorts unfortunately, the sills, although daunting if you’ve not done them before, are actually pretty straightforward to be honest, just need to go at them slowly, always cut off less than you need to and trim back slowly until they fit right. Inner and centre sill sections need to be made though because you can’t buy those. I’ll do an arch and fuel filler repair video soon aswel.

  Great video as always Tel. Cracking job on that bulkhead. You gonna put a drain each side tho??? My tank for the bike is gone off to be welded up and I fabbed up an entire new bottom for it. Cant wait to get that back and crack on! Toodles for now Tel and love from the emerald isle mate!!

  Thanks George, yeh, so the drain bit I forgot to mention, iv actually got a spot each side I can drill on the Audi bulkhead side that’ll drain that area back into the engine bay behind the engine, it’ll all work out pretty good to be honest. You not having a go at welding yourself? It’s a great tool to have in your arsenal!

  Yeh it’s a bummer really man but it’s all part and parcel I guess, I still need to install a wiper motor there yet aswel so that’ll hide it all even more. You should have a go at building something, I had no metal fab/welding experience prior to building this car, everyone is capable of doing it!

  No, unfortunately I couldn’t make the standard setup work without having to make a big recess for it to sit into, which in turn would cause issues with other things being fitted later on… iv not given up with the standard one yet though, I’m going to attempt modifying it which will hopefully work out, worst case it’ll have to be a motorsport style single wiper that goes in there…

  Hahaha, yeh I think thats probably the best bead rolling Iv done to date! 🤣 I was thinking I might make that ‘design’ on some rollcage gusset bits to try and sell, they could be amusing to see! It’s definitely difficult juggling family, work and project cars, over winter isn’t to bad but summer time you need to be out with family I think!

  That is a potential option atm, but I’m going to try and modify the original linkage setup first, I’m hoping with abit of cutting and fetling I might be able to make it abit more compact so I can keep the 2 wiper blades… 🤞🏻

  I’m putting it more down to luck and determination over skill, I’m honestly just winging it here, I have no idea what I’m doing lol how Iv pulled off most of what Iv done still baffles me 🤣🤣 it’s been a great experience learning though and I honestly recommend anyone to have a go themselves, it’s amazing what we’re all capable of if we apply ourselves to it!

  As far as I’m concerned chaps, I’m going to see this thing through until the end, how long that’ll take I don’t know but I will get there, it’s all just time and more importantly, money at this point, the fab work is great, it’s not costing me a great deal, but it’ll all slow down once I need to start spending on everything, 3 projects does nothing good for a bank balance lol

  Hello mate, iv had some very very minor scrubbing on the rear when loaded, I think ideally I need a 60 side wall on the tires rather than 65. The front has been the worse but I am planing on rolling the arches a little before I paint the van
