Looks cool Terry I do like them looking lower 👌and a wise and smart move trying to get more longevity out of your work vehicle I’d say . So I guess a wide arch kit next then 🤔🤣

Actually glad i watched this one, was going to get some Lanoguard a few weeks back for the Golf. Ill probably get some the end of the month using the code if i can swing some time on the ramp. Always wondered what it applied like.

It’s good stuff to be fair, it’s so easy to apply, the worst bit is cleaning the underside and rubbing off all loose rust, underseal etc, well worth it in the long run though if it’s going to protect your car… I wish I could have used a ramp though, that would have been amazing!

Haha, I know that feeling all to well! I do still have the other banded 16” steels here if they’re of interest to you? They do need a couple of tires, and a good rub down/paint etc

Can’t go wrong with banded steels, I still need to sell the other set i have yet lol Front is stupid easy and takes no time at all, the rear was surprisingly straight forward aswel to be fair

I've got the L2 H2, full toys 140-330.. totally love it but yeah, she likes to rust underneath. Would love to make it look cooler, but I need that travel because my loads need it, Love a Mk 7, even though they don't handle in the wet..

I’d highly recommend the lanoguard mate, even now the underside on mine looks spot on! You can still make them look decent with travel, get some off-road style wheels, a guy on Facebook has a lifted 330 on nobbly tires and that looks pretty damn menacing to be honest lol

Hello mate, iv had some very very minor scrubbing on the rear when loaded, I think ideally I need a 60 side wall on the tires rather than 65. The front has been the worse but I am planing on rolling the arches a little before I paint the van

getting hot + sweaty under an old tranny, good weekend for some... i now have an idea of how to raise front suspension on my brother's ecosport... in the old days, if your leaf springs were flat, you got done for over-loading, regardless of what weight was in the back, i would be tempted to keep the reciept for springs in van...

Haha, atleast this is then right kind of tranny to have spent my weekend with lol Because the van does lean back a little I have been fully expecting to be pulled over but thankfully that’s it been the case yet. I think it’s abit more ‘normal’ to see a lowered van with aftermarket type wheels these days so maybe they’re not to bothered anymore?

Thank you mate, mine are 16x8 on the front and 16x8.5 on the rear. You can go 9j on the rear but Anything wider on the rear you run into issues with the side door opening properly.

@@Tdevil86 thanks Terry. You know the part where you did the sills. You said u sanded, rust treated, primed and then stone chip sprayed. Was the stone chip just on underneath or on outside of van, did you get stone chip colour matched? Thanks

Actually been contemplating selling the van but I think il fix it first and use it for abit before I make any decisions. The money from the van could go a decent way towards one of the cars…
