Unfortunately there is a silent agenda to convert japan into islam. Unless your government clamps down on this like china and myanmar etc. Then they might be successful. Im only bringing this to your attention as i grew up to and love japanese culture and do not want to see it destroyed like all other pre islamic cultures. Instead of respecting the local culture and adopting to it they WILL try to change it.🙏☸🇯🇵

Thank you very much for this excellent explanation! 🙏 I am a follower of an esoteric form of Shinto (somewhat in the tradition of Oomoto). For further research into esoteric traditions, the ancient Takenouchi documents are recommended. 🙏 With best wishes

I find that anger, fear, and anxiousness push back manifesting anything into life. Happiness, joy, and gratitude are the keys to desires. Thank you. Living in America and its fast pace lifestyles can affect ones mind. In Japan, i rarely got angry. I tell everyone in America that in Japan, everyone is so songful and smiling. Come back, to the states, everyone is addicted, mad, and complaining about money, money, money and money. Lost positive energy. Its very difficult and sad.

I have recently started a new position. This was after having practiced many of the concepts you talk about. I feel it was a good change for me as I already feel more fulfilled and happy. I am still learning to open myself to some of the other things you discuss here. That is why I now follow a daily routine of Harmony, Respect, Purity and Stillness for peaceful enlightenment. I am choosing to be on the right train Thank you for your guidance. 🙏

Women are not meant to be workers. Job is basically men's right. It is the only way women to be happy, they should get married ASAP in their twenties and have a baby. Today society is wrong fundamentally. That's it.

Thank you for introducing this word. I strive to give the right amount of attention to all aspects of my life. For internal aspects, there are the words physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. For external aspects, there are other people (social aspect), but as you point out, there are objects and also plants/animals in our lives. I've looked for ways to describe these in the context of caring/giving attention to. The best word I've found for objects is monozukuri (e.g. making the table happy by cleaning) and for plants/animals, kami (e.g. watering our plants). Do these work in Japanese or are there better words in Japanese or any other language?

Nowadays people rather start a new relationship than try to fix what's broken with the one they have and in the process carry this brokennesss into the new. Most people especially men aren't encouraged to talk about trauma so they never quite heal. I like the concept of kintsugi; recognizing what's broken and putting the intention to mend it with heart(gold) and mind. It is a beautiful mindset. Sometimes difficult...but I think healing from trauma or crack or bruise makes us stronger and gives us perspective and identity. Thanks for sharing Azumi-sama 🙇

Domo Arigato. I now understand that my Grandmother was Japanese Buddhist but incorporated Shinto practices. I now use the same practices. They were in my genes the entire time. I give Reiki and understand understand universal life force energy as well as ancestral healing. I feel that all of this information has come to me because I am the ancestor who is healing my ancestors forward and backward.

Beautifully explained! A good translation I’ve heard is “I humbly receive.” Christians could loosely compare itadakimasu to saying grace before a meal.
