I enjoy making videos I feel are entertaining to watch and learn.
The focus of this channel is on everything cars including restoration tutorials, reviews, car shows and straight up messing around. I might also throw in completely random video here and there, you can find these in the "Randomness" playlist.

Can you purchase more nails as required?
@@alrhon50 yeah you just need to make sure your getting the right size for the tip.
Newer Mini Coopers have a sun roof with a bug screen.SO COOL!!!
@@karenmcgady7637 that’s sick
you put in your title what model VW beetle as there is different types
Chris, you should take this video down. You probably made a hazmat site and put it on the net for everyone to see you did it.
Hey Chris! Great video, thorough but concise. I like your easygoing delivery. I really appreciate the closeup of that nut/bracket removal (2:09) . The way the bolt is split and bracket tabbed made me think there was something complex going on with the wires. You showed me it’s simple, no automotive engineering degree required 😊 Thank you very much!
PERFECT
The other reason for doing this is to allow electrical work to be done with the key engaged and if you forget, since you were working on the car not driving it, and walk away the coil doesn't get so hot it burns down your house.
Thanks. How long does the silicone need to dry for before you start vehicle?
Technically you can start immediately, I give it a few hours
@@ChrisNCars Awesome thanks. I got new one working it seems so far..it wasnt pumping fuel to filter at first so i just squeezed the hose and that seemed to do the trick to get the pump going.
Easy to understand…Thank you. Liked and Subbed.
Thank you!!!
Good video, but your hook for clutch needs to be replaced.
you save my Day
Hard to listen to a man with a beta femboy voice.
how has the fan radiator setup worked?
If you mean, how do you wire the fans, there is a document in description.
@@ChrisNCars no has it kept the truck cool? I’m searching around for a nice radiator and I want to get people’s long term takes on their different setups
@@JacobEcret oh, yeah! They work great. Only complaint is they put a washer that is not stainless in the cap and it rusts.
😂 not bad I hate removing headers way to remember to clean up before getting back into the interior!!!
Took 4 hours to replace in a 70' C10. I didn't know about the bolt that holds the pushrod, I greased to hold it in place. Heard that somewhere.
Video is very helpful and is explained really good!!! Thank-you 😊
Spent 250 bucks for parts. Did it within one and a half hours in my buddy's air-conditioned garage. Had a couple of beers after that. Thank you, Chris! 🤙The dealer wants 1300 dollars for the job.
See! You get it. I am not a certified mechanic, just a dude filming his car maintenance lol. If you try you can save so much money.
do you always use that much silicone?
No lol, especially on aluminum. You can’t tell in the video but plate was kinda warped so I sealed the crap out of it, ha!
Thank you for this information!
Another cool thing at least on the Gen 3s are the headlight cleaners when you spray your windshield 3 times it sprays the headlights as well
🤯oh I hope I have that
I now know where those black fingerprint marks on our front door (& pantry door) came from….
The doors appreciate not hearing your car anymore. 🤪
What lube did you use?
amzn.to/4c1sMsL
@@ChrisNCars the lube related jokes I’m not allowed to post are killing me.
@@jennareitz544 ☝️my wife’s funny.
Cheap tools but works great. Thanks for infor
Hey Chris I see this is 2 years ago, I just picked up a 69 beetle myself and I'm doing tons of research trying to find the perfect wheel/tire combo and stance setup. This beetle is PERFECT. If you have a moment would you mind explaining your wheel specs tire specs how you lowered it etc??
Hey thanks Chris!
Sounds GOOUD. HE HE
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Every collectible car should have some type of kill switch
I used the speaker wire and I checked the fuse that put on the wire. It seems okay and I checked the switch. It seems okay so what could be wrong?
I used to switch 250 V and 25 A. It worked at first then the car turned off so what could cause this and I put a fuse in one of the wires
Probably a fuse somewhere down the line. Get a volt meter and check you are getting proper current before and after switch
did this to my car. I put a switch on there as I'm driving along the Car turn off can you please tell me what causes this?
I would assume bad switch or fuse burnt out. Check that you are getting 14 volts to your ignition cable at cap.
Do not do this. It is ineffective. Simply pull a relay instead.
I usually slide pushrod up slide a hacksaw blade down between the pushrod & fuel pump arm. Once you get the pump mounted close to the engine block, pull out the hacksaw blade & install the 2 fuel pump mounting bolts. Trust me it works. 👍
Yup that works too!
Good Man That Was
Thanks brother
Hi, thanks for the video, I have second hand car and the break pad working came up 2 days ago. I checked mine and it is actually done the way you showed and my pads are 90% new very little used, so what should I do now not to have it on screen (my car is Volkswagen Passat)
I would check the plugs or remake the dummy plug. If previous owner didn’t solder wires probably came apart
Why not just put filler over that den
Too much filler cracks over time
The binnets scoop comment.. maybe you need to read up some more on the S version and what an intercooler is before you comment?
Thank you for the info. 👍🏼
Apparently people say these fans are trash
Still works for me and I practically daily drive the truck. Only issue I had was the cap didn’t have a stainless washer in it and there was some rust
Electric doesnt deserve the name of truck
That thing isnt a truck
That’s slap to the face to even park that coke can next to that beauty
R56 not bad. I might trade up someday. I like my r53s.
Mini Cooperrrrr
Worked a treat. Simple and very effective. Thanks Chris 👍🏼
Yeah buddy
Inspired by chrisfix,😂✌️
Did he do a kill switch video too? Ugh I need to change my name
@@ChrisNCars yup, around 2 years ago i think, saw ur name & I had to comment that😂
Why do they charge $120 on top of the $30 for the filter for the labor for this!?
Because less and less people want to even attempt working on their cars these days my friend.
One tip if you do this: Some time in the future if your vehicle doesn't start, check this circuit. Even though I used a HD quality switch, the switch broke internally and would only fail occasionally, took me a long time to track it down. It's good to have one still.
