I have an old HP6830, watched your video, bought the cleaning kit from Amazon Prime, cleaned the printhead as directed, and it worked! Only suggestion I might add is to replace the folded paper towel you place under the printhead carriage each time you inject the solution. I had a very messy cleanup job upon completion of the process because i didn't change the paper towels as frequently as possible. Also disposable plastic gloves might come in handy too to prevent soiling your hands from the old ink and cleaning solution during final cleanup. Great Product!!!
yes I agree swapping out the paper towel is a very good idea at the time I film this video. I had not gotten that down, but it is now standard practice.
I had a new cartridge wouldn't print. Did all the head cleaning jazz on the machine and with the fluid. Nuttin. I tried 2 other same cartridges.. nuttin. As I removed the ink cartridge I saw something I hadn't thought of. The contact plate on the cartridge that hits the controlling contacts on the printer caught my eye and I took a pencil and used the eraser to brighten and clean them! Voila! It dawned on me I hadn't had a call for a magenta cartridge in forever so the contact plates were oxidized. Who knows how long they sat in the warehouse before that! Hope that helps others!

One end goes into the wall outlet and the other is color coded and matches the input on the back of the printer.
After this process I’m still printing blanks

The one aspect of these printers that very very few even mention is dealing with paper jams. I have an older Epson eco 2810 printer. It has given me good results for printing out family history related work. For just over 1 year I used a whole ream of paper with little impact on the ink tanks , about 1/4 use of black . However one day the paper decided to do a double sided print for some reason (I I never set that before printing) and maybe because I was using cheap paper it got jammed. Now I cannot remove the back cover on 2810 to get to the crushed paper right at the back. Eventually I found a review that confirmed that the newer 2850 has a cover easy to remove so that'll be my next purchase. I can't tell you just how many reviews I've watched to find out this vital fact . As a heavy home user this is so important to know before I commit a sizeable extra cost to my genealogy hobby.
I need help from you. I just bought this printer and when i print something. Is printing slow and quiet. Like if i picked best Qualiy. The Quiet mode is off by the way. So no clue what in the setting is also influencing ita printing speed

Hello, how much is the maximum weight of photo paper you can bear, how much does the original ink cost, and how much does it cost?
Our blue/cyan was not printing, so performed the print head cleaning using the cleaning fluid, about 10ml in each one. Waited 24 hours. Now the PGBK (large black) is printing fine, but no colors are printing now. I've run the Deep Cleaning step about 5 times, with new ink cartridges. Any thoughts?
The Epson ET-2850 says "Max Paper Size 8.5" x 47.2", Does that mean it can print on rolled banner paper? I can't find any information on that anywhere. Can you do a video on it?

Do you know if the ET 2850 has a replacement for its maintenance box? When I open up my printer it looks just like the TO4D1 but under that model it doesn't mention the ET 2850.

Wiggle it back there with the printed circuit board facing up. It is tight, but it works.

7/5/24 Based on a 2 yr average:which printer is most durable ? Which printer throws the least amount of error codes forcing the not so tech savvy user to make the dreaded call to tech support ? For that matter which brand offers live person tech support ( that’s a biggy ) . I’ve had the Pixma g7020 for 3 yrs now and I want to luv it but man it presents allot of error codes & getting hold of live tech support ??? Good luck. They were nice when you could get a hold of them but I encountered two separate emergency’s where I needed tech support that day. Nope, nadda. I just asked allot of questions & took notes when I did eventually reach a live person. I printed a gazzillion pages in 3 yrs only went thru one ink refill . Can’t complain there . Now after 3 yrs I just encountered my first print quality issue ( everything shaded green . So I ordered your cleaning kit and we’ll see what happens.
7/5/24 what happens if you don’t do the flush at the end of the? I have a g7020 very similar to this and there is no replacement material/kit that soaks up all of the ink that’s used in the final step. Question 2- if I cleared the dried ink with your kit , why is the last step “ maintenance ink flush” required? I mean no disrespect or negative tone, I’m just trying to better understand . I’m concerned for where all that flushed ink goes. If the material in the back of the printer (let’s call it a sponge)gets saturated, the printer throws a code that to my understanding needs to be addressed by canon ( which defeats the whole DIY principle). I always go for brother when it comes to lasers and epson for ink tank printers. Thermal are more forgiving but I do prefer zebra or brother.

Cleaned 2760 multiple times never un clogged. What's up with that? I heard from Costco sales that et- 2850 has an ink circulation and head cleaning is this correct?
try using warmed up solution, visit visit best printerstech.com for support and videos on how to warm up solution
If everything is coming out just a blue color will I need 4 kits to clear out the each color.
That's normal. You only need one kit maybe one additional if you need more solution.

I did this so many time (not with this exact solution) but I did use printhead cleaning solution multiple times and for whatever reason my ink stays full and won't print. (Only happens with yellow)
That is strange.
My yellow ink won't print but everything else works fine I didn't a power clean and looks like the yellow didn't even get touched. Like it's not pulling through the line or something
Try using warmed up cleaning solution. There are videos on this channel and on my website best printertech.com that will show you how to properly warm up to cleaning fluid.
